Good fit and they come distressed and they don't get more distressed after washing them. I order Levi's 505's in size 35 for a baggy paints look and they look good. They probably look good in my true size 34. They are smaller than 550's in size 35.

My husband only wears Levi’s 505 — seriously, we probably have around 50 pairs at home! He wears them daily and washes them after every wear (even though we all know denim isn’t supposed to be washed that often 😉). We keep coming back because the fit works well for him and they’re comfortable. But to be honest, the quality can vary between different versions of the 505. Some last forever and feel sturdier, while others wear out more quickly — it’s a bit of a gamble. Still, for us, it’s a go-to classic that just works.

I only buy 505 style Levis. These fit just as they do from the retail stores and are soft, lightweight (compared to no stretch version), and just the right amount of stretch. No need really to "hike" them at the legs to sit down, get in and out of high vehicles, etc. And they feel really comfy and look great. Great summer weight jeans. I will definitely buy more.
