Design of jeans is typical straight leg. Fabric is decent weight. I didn’t like was that the dye pattern was odd. Dye pattern had very distinct lines across thighs. Also dye shows a very clear “X” on the knee. I am hoping the weird dye pattern will fade quickly and look more natural. I thought about sending back but didn’t since I got a good price and fabric was decent. I figured if my son doesn’t like the pattern, he can use them for play, etc. Also, be aware that % of cotton varies across Levi’s jeans. I was disappointed that these jeans had lower % of cotton than other designs. I would have purchased the 505 version if I had realized because it has higher cotton content.

My 14 year old son is very picky about his clothes. He likes these jeans a lot. I had originally ordered him a high end brand that cost much more and he misplaced them at school in the locker room so I did not want to buy him another expensive pair of jeans. He likes these better and they fit and look better on him than the other pair. They are a good staple piece in any teen boys closet. Highly recommend.
