These jeans fit nicely. They are slim but wider in the hip area so my son doesn't feel like these are fitted or tight on him. The fabric is standard denim and has a tiny bit of stretch and movement in it.

I've obviously been buying cheaper jeans for my boys, because as soon as I pulled these out of the bag I could feel a massive difference in the texture and quality between these and the jeans I normally get for my son at the Children's Place. I got these in size 12 since my 52" son is close to outgrowing his size 10 jeans from CP, but these Levi's are absolutely massive on him. Maybe it's because my son is quite slim (I normally get slim waist in a skinny cut jean), but there's no way these Levi's will fit him for at least a year or two. These really are Levi's. I was a little shocked to see this brand pop up. I got these for my nephew as he is always complaining that I get stuff for his sister and never for him. lol BUT boy was I an idiot. I thought that I had the right size but nope, I got the wrong size. So I am giving it to my sister as she knows more kids than I do! LOL I checked it before but it is the normal Levi's jean material. It is a nice quality as expected of Levi's. I also liked that it has this adjustable feature built into the jean! I thought that this was genius as you could probably buy it a little bigger and then adjust them a little smaller and let them grow into it. I honestly forgot how fast kids can grow. *sigh* Can I just say that as an adult, I would like that adjustable feature in all my pants! Overall, a great pair of jeans but you can probably get them cheaper as I have seen them cheaper online. ... show more

I have ordered these a few years ahead of when my son will need them. But Levi's are always classic and I know he will be able to wear these in the future. We're in a time when all fits and cuts of jeans are kind of in style. These are well cut jeans and a classic light wash that will always be in style. He loves them and would wear them every day if the weather was a little cooler. It's late summer right now. They fit him so well, though, that I'll have to get him a second pair. These Levi jeans are made of high quality thick material. The elastic feature is awesome and my son loves it. It makes the jeans more comfortable and lighter. The built in waist adjustment is a bonus for small waisted kids like my son. It's pricey but you get what you pay for.
