I love this brand of cotton stretch-knit 'tops' for children! This isn't my first purchase of this brand, Leveret. Their t-shirt type of fabric (cotton &/or cotton blends of stretch-knit fabric) is very nice; it washes well and retains its shape very nicely, and the fabric is a mid-weight fabric which is nice for layering and for wearing as-is in the spring & autumn. The brand runs a bit small, compared to other known & household-name-brands so, adjust accordingly. For example, when my granddaughter wore a 24-mos.-to-2T, I was buying her 3T, and for my 8-y/o grandson who usually wears a size 8, I buy a size 10 for him in Leveret ... so, go up one size to avoid improper fitting or returns.

Very nice shirt. High quality, super soft. True to fit. High quality stitching, fabric and over all quality. I highly recommend. I purchased the golden yellow one and it was true to color on the screen. That impressed me. I'm always worried about the color, screens can alert a color, but that yellow was right on the mark. The shirt is beautiful. If it were in my size, I'd wear it. I had originally purchased this for my son for Halloween, minion costume. It worked beautifully and he can wear it all winter long. Update: 12/22/16 I've since repurchased 7 more of these shirts for my two smallest children. I love these shirts. They hold up so well in the wash. They don't pill, they stay soft, they don't fade, they don't shrink... What more could you ask for? I highly recommend them. My 4 year old loves his short sleeve shirts, but in the winter, it's just not faisable. I layer these shirts under the t-shirts. Problem solved!

This shirt is as expected. Based on some other reviews, I bought the 8 year old size for my 6 year old daughter. She is 6 and weighs 54 lbs. and it fits her perfectly. Not too tight and not too loose. The fabric is very comfortable and stretchy. She is a picky clothes wearer, and she really liked it. We bought it for a dress up activity in her kindergarten class. It was difficult to find a brown shirt. It seems better and softer than your standard T-shirt. I was worried about it being big boxy for a girl, but it was actually quite nice on her. I would definitely buy more colors if I did not already have tons of long sleeve shirts in her closet.
