This one was really fun to put together. Not too difficult for me, being in my 50s, but difficult enough to be very fun. It looks good with my other sets. Arrived on time and in good shape. The box was a bit crumpled in the corners, but still in good shape.

Just finished completing the Lego Mercedes-Benz G 500 build and it looks great. There are a few challenges on figuring out where minor assemblies fit on the chassis. This car is the largest I have built to date having assembled the Lego technic jeep and Lego Land Rover classic defender 90 which are both smaller. I only gave this set 4 out of 5 stars because the fit of the Lego's in certain spots were not up to what the previous kits were and did not meet my expectations. Look at the close up photo for an example of what I am commenting about. Also there was one part missing but I was able to improvise using a few extra parts in the set. The biggest problem that I had was getting a set that was complete. Amazon does not place this item in a box and the box the set comes in is not up to shipping quality depending on where you live. The UPS delivery person told me that when he put it on the truck all of the tape was intact but when it was delivered the tape had let go. The first set was returned as the box was highly damaged and there were loose parts inside. Hopefully Amazon will start shipping items like this in strong cardboard box. ... show more
