The LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series TIE Interceptor 75382 is an excellent set and an easy 5-star recommendation for Star Wars fans and LEGO collectors. This is exactly the kind of UCS set that stands out because it combines an iconic ship design with a very polished build experience and a fantastic finished display model. For fans of the original trilogy, this one feels especially rewarding. One of the best things about this set is how striking it looks once completed. The TIE Interceptor has always had one of the coolest ship designs in Star Wars, and LEGO did a great job capturing its aggressive shape and distinctive wing design. The finished model has a lot of visual impact, and it looks fantastic on display. It has that premium collector feel that makes it look right at home in an office, media room, or alongside other UCS sets. The build itself is very enjoyable and feels thoughtfully designed from start to finish. It is detailed enough to stay interesting the whole way through, but it does not feel overwhelming. Watching the structure come together is satisfying, and the final model feels like a real accomplishment once finished. It has that great balance LEGO collectors want, where the building process is fun but the display value afterward is just as strong. The included TIE Pilot minifigure is also a nice addition and helps complete the package. Probably my favorite UCS set I've ever built! I have always loved the TIE Interceptor, and seeing this go together, and the details inside the cockpit interior was amazing! It's size is on par with the UCS X-Wing, and came with all the pieces as you would expect from Lego. For the price it's a great UCS set as long as it's still active, once it goes to retired status the price will increase. This is NOT for young kids though, as it's designed for experienced Lego builders and those who have experience with prior UCS or Lego adult sets. The assembly process is lengthy, but that's a good thing as it make for some fun evenings of building! ... show more

As usual another awesome Lego set. This is the first UCS set I have bought and I am not disappointed. This is one of the coolest looking Star Wars ships in my opinion and the model is awesome. Was a very enjoyable build. There are a couple of tricky parts doing the wings but if you are patient they aren't a problem. Will be getting the UCS X Wing. Would highly recommend to any Lego and/or Star Wars fan. No complaints. ... show more

The scale is perfect for the details of the ship and is already a key display item for any star was fans to show off. There are a lot of pieces to work with and it will take time to assemble but it is worth the effort. Also to go an extra step further… check out the brikbling and other LED light kits they make for these special adult series Master LEGO builder kits!!! ... show more
