I love this hoodie. After spending nearly $200 on a costume for Halloween, I saw this advertised on Amazon and just had to have it. It is so decently priced, I returned my other costume and bought this one instead and I am so glad I did!! Saved me a bunch and is even more cute than my previous costume! I am 5'5.5" and 135 - 137 pounds; kind of a busty hour glass shape. This large hoodie fits me *perfectly*, just a little snug with a bit of space for wearing a sweater dress or something underneath. I could probably had bought a medium if I didn't want to layer under the hoodie. The length reaches just at a point that if I bend over it doesn't show my bum but I still will probably want to wear opaque leggings or short shorts under this just in case. My only wish would be to make the sleeves just a bit longer, but that is more personal preference because I have longer arms. The hoodie itself is better than the photo examples on Amazon. If you look up "leg avenue bat costume" on Google you will see that the hoodie's zipper actually goes all the way down and can open fully. It also is full fleece material, so it's insanely soft and warm. The hood is big, and looks great both up or down. The wings are super thick, not flimsy or cheap looking. Keep in mind this hoodie is very, very warm. It will be much too warm for anyone who gets hot easily, but perfect or someone who is worried about freezing outside on Halloween. This whole costume has a casual feel to it because of the cut and material, so this would be great for a casual Halloween party, for a teen who is trick or treating, or just someone who loves looking like a bat (judgement free zone here)! I posted this comment before Halloween so if someone is on the fence on buying this hoodie, i wanted to help that make the right choice. Go with this hoodie! It's awesome. I'm so glad I ordered this product! I waited & debated, then Amazon went out of stock so I pulled the trigger once the item was a slightly higher price, almost out of stock & not prime & I don't regret it one bit. I'm a curvy, top & bottom & am 5'6. I ordered the large since I normally wears jean size 31/32 again curvy not super skinny jeans & it's perfectly tight around my waist. I also plan to wear with thick leggings or black jeans depending on the weather. So I tried on over my normal jeans for the review. It's a snug fit so if you're going for a looser super comfy fit then order 2 sizes up. The product hits me mid thigh, in the front. A little too short in the back for me to wear alone, but you could get away with it especially with a short pair of running shorts on underneath. Upon opening the shipping envelope I was slightly concerned it'd be tough fabric that wasn't soft as the packaging is a no frills basic Halloween packaging, but fabric is soft & comfy. Only a few strings from seeing to trim which is not a big deal at all. Also has the great V neckline, even if it's zipped all the way up it doesn't go above a what a normal v neck shirt would and the fur goes all the way down to the zipper. The zipper doesn't have a second pull from the bottom so don't expect that. The ears on mine stand up without adding any additional support as they are stuffed so full they have no option but to stand up. There are also nice details I was surprised by like the wing hooks off the sleeve and the stitching that outline what would be the bats bones in the wing. There is also a v that goes down in the front and back, almost like a onesie that's unbuttoned (if a one size was a V) to account for the bats body I guess. All in all I'm super happy with the purchase and excited for Halloween. A simple yet cute outfit that I can definitely wear year after year. I cannot confirm enough order a size or two up & order it before it goes out of stock if you're debating on getting it at all! šŸ˜Š Will try to update with pics later. ... show more

This so so cute! It does run small. Iā€™m between a size small and medium and I bought a medium. I shouldā€™ve bought a large but kept the medium. It is well made and so warm! You will not be cold in this bat costume hoodie! If the sizing were right Iā€™d give it 5 stars.

    • Great costume! Couple of things to watch out for
Fit Type: Women's Size: X-Large
This costume is really nice, easy to wear, perfect for Halloween! (and, frankly, for lounging around playing video games). It's comfortable - cheap material, of course, but still comfortable - and warm. Here are my main points: 1. Sizing - definitely order 1-2 sizes larger than you usually wear. I wear L usually; I got XL in this and I'm so glad I did because the XL is snug on me and I had to stretch the fabric slightly to get it to zip up all the way. So order 1 size larger if you want it snug, 2 if you want wiggle room. 2. Construction - it's polyester so don't dry it in a machine or this costume will wind up even smaller than it originally was! But for the price, the fabric is pretty good and the seams are all sewn together well. The 'fur' on the hood and ears is really soft and nice, the hood is big enough to drape down on the forehead a bit which is nice. I'm impressed with the zipper too, which is a nice fat one instead of those cheap 'invisible' ones that always snag on the fabric and quickly break. 3. Wearability - 10/10, this is great! Easy, comfortable. Definitely warm so that's nice for trick-or-treating outside, but may be a bit too hot at a crowded party indoors. Of course in that case you can always unzip it and still wear the wings and hood. Do plan on wearing shorts or leggings because this is just a jacket, no bottoms included. My 16 year old is around size 10 and the XL was tight and bunched up terribly on her. She gave it to her skinny 13 year old sister and it fits perfectly, (she would be around a women's small- small/med). We sized up to a 3x for eldest, which was a touch long for her taste, but nice and flowy, like she wanted. (I like the length since she can raise her arms without showing off her butt.) I read multiple reviews about sizing and decided to go with my regular size based on the reviews of similar body types to mine. I ordered a medium, and though it is snug, it fits just fine! For reference I am 5'9", about 150 to 155 lbs and my measurements are 35" bust 29" waist 37" hips. The arms were a smidge short, but I wore gloves so it didnt matter. I also wore it with leggings and a tank top underneath. It is fleece, so I stayed fairly warm! Putting up the hood also helps with warmth. Last thing that is absolutely not important, I wish there were small holes in the wings at the waist so you can hug your friends!! (Without trapping them in a cacoon ha) ... show more

I was hesitant and glad I did. I wanted to sleep in it - that is how comfy it was. The quality of the fleece and the craftsmanship was far better than expected. The wings and hood/ears are nice. I left it on long after the event. I recommend it for something fun and feminine without being too revealing for a kids trunk or treat (the pic). I wore a black tank top and black stretch pants underneath so if I got too warm I could open it up. It still looks okay unzipped, but I preferred it closed. For sizing I got a small and it was perfect. For reference I am 5ā€™3ā€, 125 lbs, 34D. Ps I thought lint would stick to the fleece everywhere, but I havenā€™t noticed any yet.
