I read multiple reviews about sizing and decided to go with my regular size based on the reviews of similar body types to mine. I ordered a medium, and though it is snug, it fits just fine! For reference I am 5'9", about 150 to 155 lbs and my measurements are 35" bust 29" waist 37" hips. The arms were a smidge short, but I wore gloves so it didnt matter. I also wore it with leggings and a tank top underneath. It is fleece, so I stayed fairly warm! Putting up the hood also helps with warmth. Last thing that is absolutely not important, I wish there were small holes in the wings at the waist so you can hug your friends!! (Without trapping them in a cacoon ha)

I am big. I wear mostly 3x, I was wondering if the 3x-4x size would be true to size. When zipped up, the gut area is a bit snug on me, but there is some stretch to the material. Now, the wings are felt like, but the zipped up area is more like sweatshirt material. Not a full fleece-like material. but rather fleece-felt. It should be warm for Halloween night where I live it gets colder. Last year it was mid 40's on Halloween night. But this costume does have some give to the material. The hood is roomy, and I'll probably wear a hat underneath in order to keep it from flopping too much. I've been looking at this costume for the past few years, glad I decided to get it. You do need pants or leggings for the bottom part.

I love this hoodie. After spending nearly $200 on a costume for Halloween, I saw this advertised on Amazon and just had to have it. It is so decently priced, I returned my other costume and bought this one instead and I am so glad I did!! Saved me a bunch and is even more cute than my previous costume! I am 5'5.5" and 135 - 137 pounds; kind of a busty hour glass shape. This large hoodie fits me *perfectly*, just a little snug with a bit of space for wearing a sweater dress or something underneath. I could probably had bought a medium if I didn't want to layer under the hoodie. The length reaches just at a point that if I bend over it doesn't show my bum but I still will probably want to wear opaque leggings or short shorts under this just in case. My only wish would be to make the sleeves just a bit longer, but that is more personal preference because I have longer arms. The hoodie itself is better than the photo examples on Amazon. If you look up "leg avenue bat costume" on Google you will see that the hoodie's zipper actually goes all the way down and can open fully. It also is full fleece material, so it's insanely soft and warm. The hood is big, and looks great both up or down. The wings are super thick, not flimsy or cheap looking. Keep in mind this hoodie is very, very warm. It will be much too warm for anyone who gets hot easily, but perfect or someone who is worried about freezing outside on Halloween. This whole costume has a casual feel to it because of the cut and material, so this would be great for a casual Halloween party, for a teen who is trick or treating, or just someone who loves looking like a bat (judgement free zone here)! I posted this comment before Halloween so if someone is on the fence on buying this hoodie, i wanted to help that make the right choice. Go with this hoodie! It's awesome. I plan on posting reference photos post Halloween.

As most know, Halloween costumes usually run small. This is an adorable costume, but it is small around the waist/hips. It runs a little big in the arms/shoulders and in the length as well. I wear a size 18 and I ordered the 3x, knowing it would run small, but am still a little disappointed that the rest of the costume is larger and this area is smaller. The plus side is that it is a fleece hoodie and it does have some give so it will stretch and should fit. It is also longer than I expected, based on other reviews. Most said it was too short and came just long enough to cover the butt. Mine, however, comes down to just above the knees and I am 5'5. It is very warm and will definitely work for an outdoor Halloween party (this is one of the main reasons I chose this costume). Keep your options open if you plan to stay inside somewhere warm, as you will most likely be too hot.

This costume is really nice, easy to wear, perfect for Halloween! (and, frankly, for lounging around playing video games). It's comfortable - cheap material, of course, but still comfortable - and warm. Here are my main points: 1. Sizing - definitely order 1-2 sizes larger than you usually wear. I wear L usually; I got XL in this and I'm so glad I did because the XL is snug on me and I had to stretch the fabric slightly to get it to zip up all the way. So order 1 size larger if you want it snug, 2 if you want wiggle room. 2. Construction - it's polyester so don't dry it in a machine or this costume will wind up even smaller than it originally was! But for the price, the fabric is pretty good and the seams are all sewn together well. The 'fur' on the hood and ears is really soft and nice, the hood is big enough to drape down on the forehead a bit which is nice. I'm impressed with the zipper too, which is a nice fat one instead of those cheap 'invisible' ones that always snag on the fabric and quickly break. 3. Wearability - 10/10, this is great! Easy, comfortable. Definitely warm so that's nice for trick-or-treating outside, but may be a bit too hot at a crowded party indoors. Of course in that case you can always unzip it and still wear the wings and hood. Do plan on wearing shorts or leggings because this is just a jacket, no bottoms included. Overall, I'm thrilled. :) My favorite costume for years!
