I started out just ordering one to make sure I was going to like the chair and to see how difficult the assembly was going to be. All parts of the chair arrived undamaged and I had no missing hardware. In fact I had extra screws and washers. Oh, and don’t freak out if you don’t see the assembly instructions inside the box. I don’t know if the manufacturer does this with every chair, but this is where I found mine. When you turn the seat of the chair over, you will see a zipper. Carefully unzip, pull the flap back, and inside you will find the instructions. Once I verified I had the right size & amount of screws and washers, I put the chair together and it looks gorgeous!! The chair sits evenly and is soooo comfortable. I know other reviewers stated that the wheels wouldn’t roll from linoleum to carpet or would scratch the floor but my chair moves very easily with me sitting in it. No scratches on my floors (linoleum & hardwood) and moves on carpet well. I am very pleased with this chair and I have already purchased three more to complete a set. ... show more

We really liked the upholstery, the shape of the chair, the size, everything was perfect, except that the leg broke when I rolled it a few feet. We returned it and received a full and prompt refund.

    • The wheels don't work well & scratch floors of most types

Not sure why these chairs have a lot of good reviews. Maybe the company started using a different build more recently. Main problem is the wheels. The wheels holders are a little rickety. The wheels themselves are made of a hard black plastic that's gummy, rolls poorly (almost not at all when sitting down), and soon enough scratches most types of floors, such as wood/parquet, linoleum, marble, etc. Practically doesn't move at all on carpet. The wheels in the advertised room setting photos look somewhat different: they have white stripes. Maybe the wheel design / materials have been changed. Also, out of the box the chair has a fairly distinct 'factory / chemical' smell, and a label underneath says it contains Cadmium and Phthalates, known carcinogens which can also cause reproductive problems. ... show more

I love the arms for raising up out of the seat. The seat is high enough too. Rollers roll just enough but not too much to slip when you are getting up. Arms fit under tables. I love these chairs!
