I actually love these Jeans (I am in my 50’s) - they fit but become real baggy why wearing! HOWEVER IF YOU ORDER BLACK? IT MUST APPEAR IDENTICAL TO THEIR “EBONY OR DARK BROWN” -AMAZON SHIPPED “EBONY” READ THE LABEL BEFORE PLACING IN THE WASH!!! Obviously warehouse didn’t see much difference in Black or Ebony either! I Didn’t open them upon arrival. When I went to wash them & tore open the package- I was loading in the machine when noticed how “dark brown- but Not Black they were”! (I rarely wear Brown anything)”! Too Late to send back! These are great fit (I ordered 18 Long) in length & when I tried on the length was awesome (I am 6ft tall & all legs). After Washing All My Jeans- I air dry- never dryer! However, these stretch & stretch to the point they are too big & sloppy. I am concerned to “dry them” because the way they stretch. That Could also mean they will shrink! I will use in Winter when I wear “light underwear for x-tra warmth”. I am ordering a 16 Long to see if I don’t place in the dryer- they won’t stretch but remain somewhat great in shape! Or if I can get them on at all!

They are nice and roomy in the hips and stomach area, which has makes them comfortable. The first pair I bought was an 18, but after seeing how big they became at the end of the day, I ordered the next size down. They fit perfectly and we're still nice and roomy. They sit at the waist like they are supposed to, not like the low rise junk that are now pushed on women's clothing today and this makes them even more comfortable. I would recommend these jeans to anyone who wants comfort, doesn't want their butt showing to the world and who like to have big pockets. Jeans now a days in all of the other brands are so uncomfortable, the pockets unreasonably small and show things that shouldn't be seen in public. Back to the Lee's brand, they do an excellent job at supplying comfortable daily jeans.

I wanted to write this review to help other women. I own just about every color and been wearing these jeans for years. Size 14! All the colors fit different and that has been frustrating. The anchor blue needs to be sized down. Its baggy and will stretch out after 24 hours. The bewitched and serene need to go up a size. Especially bewitched. If you read other reviews on this color it’s consistent with this problem. Casanova is a toss. Get true to size to start off. Black fits your normal size. The biggest problem is they changed the way they sized them also. So two casanova jeans fresh out of the package will not fit the same. That sucks and I hate returning stuff. Also amazon has on more than two occasions sent me the wrong color and size. That being said i keep coming back because they fit really well. They cover my muffin top. They hit just below my ankle for the regular fit. Im not tall or short. About 5’6. And they dont hug my ankle. They are also not bootcut. I want straight leg and this is what it is. The red color is true to size also. Hopefully this helps others. So im gonna have to return the serene color and get a size 16 not 14.

In today's skinny-jean culture, all the "normal" jeans that I usually buy (same brand, same size) are fitting way too snug. If I wanted tight jeans I would buy a size smaller. It's nearly impossible to buy the next size up in a tall size, as well. I am nearly 6' tall and can't wear a regular length jean. I'm one of those weird sizes you just don't find everywhere. Call me old fashioned - or just plain old - I don't care. I like what I like. I have been buying the same jeans for years, but this exact jean was no longer available in the usual places. All the skinny-fit ones in the same brand and size were, of course. I need to be able to move freely without binding when I work. My work jeans were all wearing out so - I went on a hunt for these. Before I found these, I didn't buy jeans on-line. I am very thankful that I broke down and did it. I bought one pair - mentally preparing myself to return them if they fit like the others in the store -- and as soon as I got them home and tried them - I bought 3 more pair. I know -- not exactly a fashion statement to own a closet-full of identical jeans -- but I don't need fashionable, I need to be comfortable while working. These fit like my old ones do. These will be a regular purchase for me. I just hope Amazon continues to carry them!

Nice and long, and fit as expected. Material is disappointingly thin, stretches like crazy (so won't fit well for long) and shows every unflattering bump and wrinkle on my tummy and thighs. I would consider this a summer jean and certainly won't be wearing them outdoors in our Canadian winter. With the recent change to a much higher proportion of artificial fibers from the former 98% cotton material, these jeans are also a lint/fur magnet - even in a well-maintained office space they manage to pick up debris, I have to keep a lint brush close at hand when wearing them as "coverved with speckles" is not a good look in a black jean. Oddly the blue pair that I ordered at the same time does not share the lint problem, although the material is similarly cheap and thin. Is it so hard to make a decent weight cotton jean with a little give? You guys used to know how to do it so well, but these are a far cry from the Lee Riders that I have been loyal to and grateful for these many years. Sadly this will be my last pair and I will look elsewhere for my jeans in he future. i would pay more for the former quality of this make, but the manufacturer is clearly chasing a cheaper bottom line and more frequent replacement cycle (these jeans obviously won't last long). LEE RIDERS YOU HAVE FAILED YOUR CUSTOMERS!
