I bought these capris hoping they would fit well enough in the waist to stay up (things tend to slide down on me) with a decent leg cut to look nice. I have skinny legs so I never expect to look quite as attractive as the models shown. I am so pleased I bought a second pair. The number one feature I liked is that the material is stretchy so a snug waist fit does not feel constricting. The leg fit is a bit loose on me but would probably look really great on most women. Edited 5/29/2024: I opted to try a larger size. I am usually a solid 4, which is what the previous items were and they fit nicely. For reference I am 5' tall and range in the upper 110's. I ordered the size 6. I initially laid them out on one of the old pair and they appeared to be exactly the same...same waist, same leg width and length. When I tried them on the difference is in the rear-end fit, it is more snug. As I mentioned, they were previously described as a relaxed fit, even the tag in the older ones indicate such, and these do not describe the fit. I would say, for me the confusion came because I searched my previous orders in Amazon and followed the link. Since Amazon took me to this page and the item appears the same I expected the same item. The pants are still made of a nice fabric, the weight is perfect for spring, summer and fall. I wear them for hanging around at home as well as dress them up a bit for a casual dinner with friends. I will even wear them to church during the summer with a nice shirt and sandals. I wear them unrolled and they hit me about 3" above the ankle. The black has lasted almost two years with no fading. I have the tan and wear it often, it is a nice neutral color. I purchased the lichen green this time and it is also a nice neutral green just as pictured. I purchased the white and was skeptical about how see through they might be, but they are nice. Of course, since they are not denim I will be cautious to wear a skin colored underwear, but I did not feel you could see my skin through the fabric. Since the pockets are external seeing that layer of fabric wasn't an issue. I also bought the chambray and they will be a nice alternative to denim when it's blistering hot in the late summer. No complaints about any of the colors or fabrics. And, ultimately the fit is fine just different than previous and I had to size up to get them to fit. In the end it would have helped if Amazon could have noted my specific item was no longer available and linked me to these as similar or something because the way they handled it implied it was the exact item and they clearly are not. I would recommend these pants. I purchased two pair of these pants 8/2022, black and what is now called pioneer beige, at the time it appears it was called oxford tan. I wear them often and wanted more colors. I could tell from the photo the lichen green seemed to fit the model differently, but they were not described as a different pant, so I had to presume it was a photo issue or model fit issue. I received the lichen green today and they absolutely fit as on the model, a much more snug fit, the black and beige are a relaxed fit. Since I have the other two colors I was hoping for the same style and am not at all happy with this distinct difference. I'm not sure going up a size will help, I think the waist will be too big and the legs will be too long, it's just a different style and they need to be described as such and advertised elsewhere. I have also ordered the chambray and white which will be delivered on later and separate dates, I'll see how those fit. I'm not very happy because with the later deliveries I could be making several trips to return items that were improperly advertised, as I said, I have two pair so I know how they fit. I know they are the same item because I searched them from my previous orders so I would get the same ones and it shows the date I last ordered them on the item page. ... show more

Love these lightweight capris. They fit perfectly, super comfortable with a wide waistband with a bit of give, lots of pockets, great price. I got the beige and white, perfect for hiking or casual wear.

I liked these when I put them on. They looked good, fit okay, maybe a little baggy but that's not a big deal for cargo pants. But give them for an hour or two of normal movement. Pick up a few things from the floor. Sit down and stand back up a few times. Just some normal movement and then look in the mirror. These stretched out so much and so fast that they looked like clown pants. I thought that for the price, I could wash and dry them on hot, shrink them and wear them for casual use. Nope. No shrinking here. Just stretch. I have purchased these exact pants in larger sizes and they just didn't react this way. I don't know if the fabric has changed, but something has. Heed my warning and SIZE DOWN. Or just buy another brand. ... show more
