10/4/23 I hadn't bought jeans in about 5 years cause my weight stayed the same. Now that I have "found" a few pounds, I needed some new jeans. So I tried Lee's first. Needed black and blue but I just ordered black. They came today that was fast! I put them up to me and thought I bought them too big, but to my surprise tht fit reasonably snug( for someone my age) and are a deep deep black. what I didn't realize they were stretch, but that's ok by me. I'm inbetween a size 10 and size 12. This are 12 and they fit wonderfully.but suddenly they look a little long(( covers my shoes) but I am having so much trouble exchanging them I guess I’ll keep them ... show more

I love the color. I love the way the waistband is secure (I’m used to hiking up my jeans anytime I move!). I love the tummy control that seems to be in the front panels: it keeps everything in its place but is still comfortable. I am bummed that the jeans are as long as they are, even in the short size. But other than that I really like them. I think I’ll try other cuts in this line (straight leg) as those could be easier to cuff. ... show more

I have two pairs of these jeans; ordered both in a short. I love the fit but will echo several other reviews that the length is different in both. I'm hoping with a wash, the longer of the two will shrink a bit :) I also noticed the picture of the fit of the jean is a little different than what I received. Granted, I'm only 4'11 but I didn't expect the jean to be so flared, I was expecting a very subtle boot cut. ... show more

I am 5'10'' tall and weigh 180 lb. I ordered size 12 tall but I wish I had ordered 14 tall. They are a bit snug. But very comfortable. The length is perfect. They are nice and smooth and I love the material. Especially the stretchy waistline. I thought perhaps the butt and legs would stretch when worn during the day but they did not. These are the best jeans!! Feel comfortable all over. Stretchy but still feels and wears like jeans. Not like just stretchy pants. I bought a 14, I’m about 5,7” and 180 pounds. There a little longer than I like but looks good with sneakers or boots.

BEST JEANS YOU CAN GET IN TODAYS JEANS WORLD. There's so many pants that fall down constantly and it's nice to find these. Though they're a bit stretchy I find I don't have to constantly shimmy my pants back up thanks to them being thick enough to stay put and fit perfectly. I ordered the Chakara in the 8 medium length and the Open Seas 8 in the medium length. The Chakara pair of jeans is almost 2" longer than the Open Seas pair! Weird. I kept both and hope the Open Seas pair don't shrink in length. As they are, I can wear with flat shoes but really wanted to wear with my boots which have a heel. Great fit- a little stretch, snug in all the right places but not tight, and very comfy. Dark wash is pretty. Goes great with boots or sneakers. Perfect for us millennials transitioning out of skinnies but not going full wide-leg :)
