I’ve worn a 12p forever but have stomach issues so can’t stand anything even slightly snug on my stomach. Because of this, I ordered both the 12p & 14p to see which would feel better. 14p has typically been baggy in a not flattering way but since all brands are different, decided to try both sizes. There isn’t much discernible difference in these 2 sizes. I wound up keeping the 14p for comfort on my stomach and returned the 12p. For reference I’m 5’ and 145-150lbs, 65+ years. I liked the quality of these jeans, but as is common with petite clothing, they don’t really fit well through the leg. I’m 5’ and 137 lbs. These fit me through the rear and thighs but we’re baggy in the calf. I’m slightly curvy and these are not made proportionate for a curvy petite.

I bought two pairs of these, size 8 petite, about a month apart. The first pair I loved, it fit me perfectly and was the most comfortable pair of jeans I'd owned for quite awhile at a reasonable price. The second pair, which was delayed in shipping, looked the same, so I washed and dried it and hung it up awaiting its turn to be worn. When I put this second pair on, they were ridiculously short, despite double checking the tag and confirming it was the same size. I just washed it again and held it up against the first pair, and it is 1.5 inches shorter. I no longer have the original bag it came in so cannot return it, but what a rip off and waste of money. How are you supposed to know what size you are actually getting if the tags say you are getting the size you order??? ... show more
