Very well made, the denim is nice and thick without all that silly Lycra in spandex that they put in denim now. I deducted one star because the regular length was incredibly long I had to get them hemmed. I'm 5'8 and I can usually wear regular like pants with no problem. These were ridiculously long I had about two and a half inches hemmed on the bottom of these. But they fit very comfortably and I get lots of compliments on the nice dark denim wash. ... show more

    • run small, inseam is long, fabric bias is a tad off

I couldn't wait to get these jeans, a throwback to the 70's. These run small in the waist and hips and really long in the inseam - order "short" if you have a normal (29-32") inseam. The hem curls up because of the bias cut on the fabric. I noticed this before I cut off the excess and made a new hem, but be aware that the weird bias cut will also affect the way the fabric moves (fits) when you sit down or bend over with that mid rise waist. If you're like me and carry extra weight in your waist, these will occasionally pinch your tummy because of the bias. Just be aware of it if your jeans have the same cut. There is a slight stretch in the fabric, but enough to accommodate the difference in the size. I normally wear a size 14 and the size 16 I purchased still fit a bit snug. I love these jeans, bought two pairs. Great price, well made, they do run longish so while I am usually a medium length I had to get short and then they were pretty good with shoes on. Nice quality and price, true sizing for everything but the length.

Quality is good and they held up fine after washing with no shrinking. These fit me everywhere but in the stomach. I carry weight there and these were a bit too tight.
