When these came in, I was pleasantly surprised to find the fit to be great! I have a very old pair of boot-cut jeans in this size that still fit me perfectly; so I was happy when these fit just as good, so: 'as expected')! I was super happy I had purchased two pairs. I have been buying my jeans at the local big box for years but all they had were the straight leg, skinny jeans - which I found very uncomfortable even when they fit fine. I had not seen a boot cut in years and don't like shopping online for jeans because they rarely fit; there is always the returns and re-sizing to deal with. Not with these! Even after washing, they fit great; even better. But I still couldn't give them 5 stars. They advertised as 'short' - I presumed that means the inseam is shorter than normal (petite, as it is usually called). I always have good luck buying petite/short because I am 5'1". It is very expensive to have a seamstress hem jeans in my area (as much as what the jeans costs) - if you can even find a seamstress. So, I was very disappointed that their 'short' was what most would consider standard inseam. I will have to have about 3 inches removed. I bought legendary style bootcut. I have long legs and a long torso so proper fitting jeans are hard to find. These jeans are awesome! Form fitting with the perfect amount of flare. I usually get high rise thanks to having children lol but the mid rise is actually comfortable and comes just above my hips like I prefer. I am 5'7" so I ordered long and I weigh 145 slightly athletic slightly "mom bod" (not much time to take care of oneself) ha ha and size 4 fits great. It holds my small tummy in good and are comfy for a pair of jeans. They are a thick jean material but still a bit flexible. I like the dark wash color. I love my Lee's and Levi's! ... show more

I love these pants and I had bought them in a size 10 which turned out to be a little to long. So I bought a second pair in another color and in a short 10. GUESS WHAT !!! They are 1-1/2 inches or more to long. I am going to have both pair shortened. These were to be 29 but are longer. What a shame to mis-advertise such basic nice pants. Phillis ... show more

I'm usually a size 11-12(30-31) and I could get the size 12 on but had major muffin top and uncomfortable. The 14 fit better. I'm 5'2 and can do the short & regular length fine.
