Well packaged. Plugged first to test light and heat sensor buttons. All good. Husband is an electrician and hard wired it. Took about half an hour to wire and hang. Three modes of lighting. Toggle using short press. Adjust brightness using long press. In another bathroom I have LED mirror that lights from the front edges but I chose this one with the lighting from behind because it illuminates the mother of pearl tiles behind. Mirror is great, unfortunately it wont work with a wall switch or dimmer, you have to turn on manually, doesn't work for me when I have 2 mirrors I want to come on together with a wall switch or smart switch
