  • Blocks blue light
Size: +0.00 Color: Transparent
I tried it with a tester and it did in fact block blue light. The glasses don't look super expensive but at least they're functional.

  • They work okay
For some reason I could have sworn I was ordering actual reading glasses with an adjustment to them. I try to avoid the ones that are just blue light blocking most of the time. I sometimes need glasses to be able to read smaller writing or for reading for a longer period of time. These are okay for being online sometimes, but not if I've been reading online or not for hours. They seem to fit okay. As far as the blue light blocking I would have said okay my partner says better then just okay. Though he needs stronger reading glasses for some games and reading he seems to really like these and has a much easier time seeing what he needs to on the screen. For me as my eyes. Get more tired I need something a little different or to magnify my screen lol. Of course if not physically tired and it's just from reading a computer screen then wearing these from the start helps make it so I don't need that as soon. So I guess they are working. Would recommend to someone who doesn't need reading glasses to begin with and only needs something after staring at a screen for hours. ... show more

  • Decent but fragile
Size: +1.5 Color: Leopard
These blue erase reading glasses do the job, although they aren't my favorite. They aren't really "tortoiseshell" but an almost pink color with brown splotches-- I'm not crazy about the look. The frames are also very lightweight and feel slightly brittle and fragile. The size and shape of the glasses is great-- not too big-- and they sit well on my face. I have a hard time keeping the lenses clean because for whatever reason these lenses smear more than any other pair of reading glasses I own. They come in a pouch which also doubles as a cleaning cloth (nice touch!) and there is a cord on the earpieces that keeps the glasses around your neck when you aren't using them. The 1.5 magnification is right in line with my other glasses that have this same level of magnification. These glasses are cute and stylish, although they really aren't what I would call tortoiseshell and they seem very fragile. The lenses work as they should, but they smudge and smear easily. As a plus, they come with a nifty pouch that doubles as a cleaning cloth and have their own cord to keep them around your neck. As I write this, there is not a price assigned to these, but I wouldn't pay more than maybe $10 for them. They do the job, but they're nothing special. ... show more

  • Lightweight, comfortable blue light blocking/filtering glasses.
Size: +0.00 Color: Transparent
I ordered the Blue Light Blocking Glasses by Leaead because I work at a computer all day long and find that the only way I can leave for the day without being exhausted and having fatigued eyes is to wear glasses like these. I have used several pairs of blue light blocking glasses over the last couple of years and can quickly tell the difference when I’m not wearing them. The Leaead glasses ship with a cloth carrying case, and lanyard. I tested the glasses with a UV light testing kit (not included with the glasses), and as you can see in the photo, the area on the strip in white is where the glasses blocked the UV rays. (I also tested the strip with another pair of blue light blocking glasses for a similar result, and then with regular glasses and everything turned violet.) For me, the true test is to wear blue light blocking glasses to work and see how I feel at the end of the day. This pair of glasses worked as expected. I wore them for several days and didn’t experience any eye fatigue when using a computer. Now that my eyes are used to blue light blocking glasses, I can tell within a few minutes if they aren’t working. While the glasses say that they block blue light, they do also filter it with a slight yellow tinting to the lenses (blue-light filtering). I think it is only important to note this if you are a designer and need to see true colors on your screen. When wearing these glasses, the colors will be slightly off. White becomes off-white, etc. but the tint isn’t heavy like many other glasses on the market. And unless you really need to see true colors, most probably won’t even notice the difference. I also found the frames to be lightweight and comfortable. The hinges on the frames open wider than most, so they were very easy to put on my larger-sized head, and remove comfortably with one hand. ... show more

  • Has really helped with my eye strain.
I didn't know I needed these until I had them. When I'm staring at a screen all day editing documents, these help so much. I don't love the frames as much as the lenses. The frames are sort of a weird rough frosted plastic, not smooth like most frames. But I don't care, because the lenses help! Very lightweight. The lenses do smudge easily. They give the screen a yellowish tint. I do graphic design, so I have to remind myself sometimes that I need to take them off for selecting colors. ... show more

  • Lightweight Comfortable Eyewear
Size: +1.5 Color: Leopard
These blue light blocking glasses are indeed lightweight. They sit comfortable on my face. The size is mid-size and is about right for comfort and viewing reading material. I also think the price is reasonable. My field of vision is clear and 1.5 strength is about right for me that is truly an individual thing. They are so lightweight I do wonder how sturdy and long lasting they will be and that's about my only comment that is negative. They feel quite fragile but only time will tell. ... show more
