Leaders Lungeing/Training Aid: - Nice Quality Rope and Pully system designed to be very comparable to the pessoa system - adjustable from all sides - will work with Pony, Cob, Horse, Oversize and Draft. If wanting for Draft - currently the Black Model only. - removable fleece for easy washing - Great for groundwork, gently developing/encouraging correct muscle tone, balance, cues and more. Built and designed to endure the rigors of Training. Surcingle, lunge line and bridle are not included. In response to the negative review: As of 2/1/23, I have sold close to 300 units of these, I'd like to add to some background/history to the development of this equiptment. This system has been developed well over 10 years ago. It was designed by a few trainers in the UK, in addition before selling this on Amazon, I reached out to 8 trainers and let them give there feedback, which they all thoroughly agreed it was well designed and made. In addition, particularily to the negative review, this can arise from incorrectly setting the "Lock and Key" system with the metal clips. Which honestly i don’t mind because sometimes my horse will randomly just shut down and he can loosen them if he needs to! the quality is great. the sheepskin smelt super funky when i got it tho lol ... show more

Over two years ago my horse suffered a nearly career ending injury to his pelvis. He was three-legged lame for five months, and had a few professionals recommend retiring him permanently at only five years old and stop working with us when I refused to stop hoping. It took time, but I revamped his team to include professionals dedicated to our success. One of the tools they recommend using to start the long path of recovery was a training aide like this one. Leaders reached out with their design, and I purchased one immediately. With slow, correct work in this aide, we started to see steady improvements in my horse’s condition in just a short time. Of course, no aide should be used to force an outline or movement, but this on its loosest setting helped my guys movement to engage his hind end and get his back working. Almost three years later, he’s now back in full, regular work as if nothing ever happened. We continue to pop him in this aide periodically to help his strength stay up, but the difference in him is night and day. I firmly believe that most of the reason behind going from retired at five to training 3rd is because of the support of this aide. I and his team don’t think he could’ve had half the comeback without it. The aide still is in great shape after all the work it’s been through. It’s easy to use and simple to clean and store. Plus, the people at Leaders are gems at customer service, and stick around to watch a horse’s progress. Every product is as described and of excellent quality. Leaders has the best quality hands down. I’ve owned a couple lunge sets, and this one is as nice as sets that cost twice as much. The ropes and hardware are high quality and not cheap.     • Gets loose within seconds- does not stay adjusted.

I had to return this product because within seconds of trotting work, all the adjustments would gets loose and I would have to stop every minute or so to tighten it all up. The band behind the legs would get so low within ~1 min that it was dangerous for my horse to work in it any longer. I stopped and tightened all the ropes up multiple times but as soon as we would start working again I could visibly see adjusters sliding and the ropes getting longer and looser. I was hopeful that this would be a good product, but I just ended up buying the real thing after returning this. The actual Pessoa lunging system is much better quality in all aspects- the ropes, clips, and rollers are of noticeably better quality and it does not come loose while working like this one does. I recommend waiting for a sale like I did and investing in the real one. ... show more
