I pulled the trigger and purchased these bad boys and I'm certainly glad that I did. They check up like a mofo!!! way more than my Cleveland and Nike gap and sand wedges (5 years old). The weight feels perfect and they do not cut up balls, as some other reviewers mentioned. I typically hit my gap up to 110- 120 yards and I have not lost any distance, but have gained stopping power. *Only con are the grips feel slightly more narrow than a typical standard grip, but they are comfortable and tacky nontheless. Definitely not a deal breaker as I planned on regripping them anyway. Pull the trigger like I did and you will be thanking yourself for not spending $150 on an new XXXXX brand wedge. ***(I'm a 14 handicap) ... show more

I was hesitant to buy these as my wedges are the most important clubs in MY bag. I have an old Cleveland 60 and a mizuno 56 and decided I wanted a new set of wedges. I didn’t feel like dropping $300+ as I just bought a new set of TM irons and needed to save some cash. I found these on amazon and the reviews looked promising so I took the plunge. I shot my best round ever today thanks to these bad boys! I shot a 79 and shot 1under on the back 9! These have amazing spin and great feel, I had quite a few shots where the ball came back at least 15 feet, no joke. I thinned a 50 yarder that was low and fast and normally would have flown off the green with my old wedges but with the 60 it hit and stopped about 10 feet past the pin. Wedges showed up in 2 days! Packaged very well protected. Quality is superb. I live on a course handicap is 8. I went out immediately hit 75 balls with all 3 wedges. I put them in my bag, took out the Cleveland’s. They’re a little heavier than my Oings and Cleveland but the bounce is perfect. I holed 3 chips from 50 yards right out of the box! Definitely a great product and deal. Only comment to Lazarus.... give us a option for a larget grips. ... show more

    • Forged Wedge at Crazy Low Price
A $55 forged wedge... I had to bite as I needed to replace my 60*. About 2 weeks after receiving the wedge I found a great deal on a set of Homna T-World Wedges with NS Pro Modus3 125 shafts. I love those wedges but I was not getting the 2 and stop that the Lazarus was giving me. I have actually put the Lazarus 60* back in the bag. It gives me the ability to attack the pins and not have to deal with all the nuance of factoring in rollout. As far as other comments about it tearing up balls this has not been my experience. I usually play ProV, TP-5, or Z-Stars and have not seen any added wear and tear. I have no idea what shaft is in this club. To me the shafts I play are every bit as important as the heads I play. I would gauge that the shaft is a stiff flex somewhere in the neighborhood of a KBS Tour C-Taper 120. It is not as stiff as the NS Modus3 125's or the Project-X 5.5 I have in my irons (Don't get me started on the lack of standards when it comes to shaft)s. But then again I am using this club predominantly greenside for pitching and chipping so the shaft flex is just fine, even when I need to use it for a full shot. I might have taken a star away for not offering any other shaft options, but felt that would be too severe. This club is 5 stars for me because it gives me the ability to hit my spot and quickly stop that I cannot achieve with my other wedges. This adds a new dimension to my short game that has been invaluable. They sell a set of three for 129$. 3 Forged wedges for that price point is an incredible deal. You are going to pay $150 retail for a new single forged wedge with a stock shaft. Again, this wedge creates excellent spin which I wanted in my 60. The other 3 wedges I play I want to hit my yardages on full shots and stop within a foot or two as I am not a tour pro that has the skills to control backspin at will. For this reason I probably would not game a full set of these. But every golfer out there has different needs so what works in my bag may not work in yours. ... show more

(I am an 18 handicap) These clubs are great. I ordered the silver set of wedges (52, 56, 60) and I am very satisfied. I would definitely recommend. First, I will note the most surprising part of the clubs to me: The weight. They are so light, I love it. Way lighter than previous wedges that I’ve owned. Next, they’re very pretty to look at, the grips are quite nice, and they sound great when striking the ball, which is half of what golf is all about. Ya gotta make sure you enjoy looking at your club when it’s behind the ball and the sound that it makes. Next, the spin is absolutely incredible, obviously (given the illegally milled face). I played today in Destin, FL, had a chip shot from maybe 40 yards out. I used the 60 degree LW and hit a flop shot. I hit it harder than I had wanted, and it landed maybe 30 feet past the pin. To my surprise, it bit and spun alllllll the back to the cup. Tapped it in for par. The unfortunate thing is that it can definitely tear the cover of the ball. Still worth it in my opinion. Lastly, the Price is great!! I would never pay $300+ for a set of wedges when there’s so many smaller companies making similar quality for way cheaper. Thanks for the wedges, LAZRUS!
