Perfume Opulent Musk Eau de Parfum by Lattafa Perfumes is a light and fresh soft perfume with an emphasis on white musk. White musk, saffron and delicate citrus notes form the opening top note. The heart note is light and floral with jasmine, white flowers and white musk. The base completes the perfume pleasantly with slightly woody notes. This is where sandalwood, cedar resin, fir resin, amber and white musk come into their own. A white musk perfume, with the typical innocent, fresh pure fragrances, but the base with the slightly resinous chords makes the perfume stand out from the mass of white musk perfumes. Like all perfumes with white musk, the perfume is very suitable for any occasion.

I received my order of Opulent Musk a day early, in perfect condition 😊. The packaging and the perfume bottle were gorgeous. It was a blind buy but came highly recommended by one of my favorite YT fragrance reviewers. When I unboxed and sprayed it, I was surprised by the prominent notes of fresh fir and cedarwood resins. It definitely was quite woody. Thankfully, I detected no gasoline-like smell. I didn’t instantly love it but I liked it a lot because it smelled fresh and invigorating while being different from what I usually like. My first impression was that of a somewhat sweet smelling fir Christmas tree. The scent was pretty intense, possibly because I am an oversprayer. I put it back in the box and let it rest a few days. Now every time I try it, I like it more and I only spray it a couple of times. It’s a definite “no no” for my work but a great fresh scent to enjoy at home and on my nature walks. I tried layering it with some jasmine attar to emphasize the floral and diminish the woody notes. It worked well all the way down to the dry down. I can see how this can be a “love it or hate it at first sniff” fragrance. If you buy it and dislike it, give it some time, let your olfactory sense develop appreciation for a wider range of fragrance compositions. I don’t recommend it as a safe blind buy because of its strong and unusual fragrance. Some will enjoy it and some will not. It would be best to get a small sample first and then make a decision. That being said, for the price, Opulent Musk is a great purchase, a very good and interesting perfume, and definitely worth a try.

It's rough out of the gate. Let your nose get use to it and allow it to mellow a bit. However, it's an interesting scent that is formal but sexy. It has similarity to Sauvage and BR540. Not a dupe but if you like those, you might like this. I think it's more masculine because of the spice but my husband thinks it's more feminine due to the vanilla so I can see it as unisex.

This was a blind trial. It's definitely unisex. I think that's due to the cedar and citrus notes. There's a little spicy note (maybe the saffron?) tucked in, too. It almost smells a bit of tobacco. Definitely a daytime fragrance -- for me. Not my favorite, however, I am very intrigued by new fragrances being offered by the UAE and NOT more stuff from China, for a change. The packaging is beyond exceptional! Heavy glass bottle. The atomiser works perfectly. The box was actually flocked with a metallic medallian on it! Super great price for the product.

Update: still a great smell however i’m unsure what I’m even smelling at this point. This fragrance is not proving to be an authentic Lattafa product. The sticker of authenticity on the bottom of Lattafa products should be rectangular and mine is round after doing a little research online proved that Lattafa does not have round stickers. How am I supposed to know what this fragrance is supposed to smell like. Below is a photo of the product I received and another of an actual Lattafa perfume with the rectangular sticker. Whether this is a good scent or not, I feel duped.

It’s definite a unique take on BR540 with a citrus note to it. It has the BR540 DNA where u smell that slightly sweet musky powdery-ness that it has in the dry down. It has a alchohol scent first spray but goes away after a minute. I don’t smell gasoline like what others are talking about . it has a very faint leathery note in the dry down . If you’re not into leather smells u might think of it as gasoline. For the price this it good and the scent is of niche quality. U won’t smell it much on your skin after a while but people can smell it on u especially if u walk by them.

Great packaging, beautiful bottle and honestly enjoyable presentation in general, a great cap and a good design bottle to prevent any leaks when you spray the fragrance it honestly smells like pure chemicals for the first 5 to 10 seconds although it seems to go away after that, there’s still a small hint of it and will hinder the way you smell it. It’s definitely a nice sweet fragrance, but too artificial and two chemical. I would recommend 9 PM intensely with you or club de nuit if you’re looking for a good sweet winter scent. This this perfume also has a small scent of a sunscreen smell I would say if you’re gonna buy this, make sure to pair it with another fragrance or we’re not too much of it. Small spritz or projects well

This is a sexy fresh vibe! I smell Light Leather, Sweet Citrus, and a Touch of Wood. The quality is good as it is by Lattafa. Wearability is unisex. The dry down is the same, but a hint of powder is then detected. This is an everyday, all year around, day, and night scent. Four hours have passed, and I can still smell it. Compliments keep coming. Not exactly like Baccarat Rouge 540 but with a twist and I am loving it!

I hear a lot of people say they get a gasoline or alcohol smell, but not the case for me or for those who were in a sprays distance. Upon first spray the scent is a bit Fruity yet sophisticated. Not Gas like at all. It has a mushiness to it that is not to heavy even though the scent is strong. It is strong but smooth to the nose. When the perfume settles it dries down to a sweet musk that garners tins of compliments!! Love it will def but again.
