Description

Perfume Opulent Musk Eau de Parfum by Lattafa Perfumes is a light and fresh soft perfume with an emphasis on white musk. White musk, saffron and delicate citrus notes form the opening top note. The heart note is light and floral with jasmine, white flowers and white musk. The base completes the perfume pleasantly with slightly woody notes. This is where sandalwood, cedar resin, fir resin, amber and white musk come into their own. A white musk perfume, with the typical innocent, fresh pure fragrances, but the base with the slightly resinous chords makes the perfume stand out from the mass of white musk perfumes. Like all perfumes with white musk, the perfume is very suitable for any occasion.

Ok first of all, I just got this. I received this 3 days earlier than expected and the bottle is in perfect condition. That's a plus. My first impression on this scent is nice and unisex but leans feminine. To me it's a soft fresh herbal scent. I first smell the Fir resin and Cedar with leather. Although leather isn't one of the notes described it's definitely there. Then I get the musk and slight lemon scents. There is a powdery floral, the Jasmine, in the dry down. I get where people smell a gasoline smell but that's from the leather scent and it calms down. Also note that the leather scent last longer on your clothes than your skin. Since I just got this, I can't testify on the silage yet. But I can say I really like it, and I think it will be even better as it macerates. Update: The scent lasts all day! I received my order of Opulent Musk a day early, in perfect condition 😊. The packaging and the perfume bottle were gorgeous. It was a blind buy but came highly recommended by one of my favorite YT fragrance reviewers. When I unboxed and sprayed it, I was surprised by the prominent notes of fresh fir and cedarwood resins. It definitely was quite woody. Thankfully, I detected no gasoline-like smell. I didn’t instantly love it but I liked it a lot because it smelled fresh and invigorating while being different from what I usually like. My first impression was that of a somewhat sweet smelling fir Christmas tree. The scent was pretty intense, possibly because I am an oversprayer. I put it back in the box and let it rest a few days. Now every time I try it, I like it more and I only spray it a couple of times. It’s a definite “no no” for my work but a great fresh scent to enjoy at home and on my nature walks. I tried layering it with some jasmine attar to emphasize the floral and diminish the woody notes. It worked well all the way down to the dry down. I can see how this can be a “love it or hate it at first sniff” fragrance. If you buy it and dislike it, give it some time, let your olfactory sense develop appreciation for a wider range of fragrance compositions. I don’t recommend it as a safe blind buy because of its strong and unusual fragrance. Some will enjoy it and some will not. It would be best to get a small sample first and then make a decision. That being said, for the price, Opulent Musk is a great purchase, a very good and interesting perfume, and definitely worth a try. ... show more

This was a blind trial. It's definitely unisex. I think that's due to the cedar and citrus notes. There's a little spicy note (maybe the saffron?) tucked in, too. It almost smells a bit of tobacco. Definitely a daytime fragrance -- for me. Not my favorite, however, I am very intrigued by new fragrances being offered by the UAE and NOT more stuff from China, for a change. Honestly, it smells unpleasant. Very cheaply made and smells similar to a smoker with lots of perfume on. This was a blind buy and definitely one I wish I could return. I would definitely recommend purchasing this one with more research because the dry down smells pretty awful.

Great packaging, beautiful bottle and honestly enjoyable presentation in general, a great cap and a good design bottle to prevent any leaks when you spray the fragrance it honestly smells like pure chemicals for the first 5 to 10 seconds although it seems to go away after that, there’s still a small hint of it and will hinder the way you smell it. It’s definitely a nice sweet fragrance, but too artificial and two chemical. I would recommend 9 PM intensely with you or club de nuit if you’re looking for a good sweet winter scent. This this perfume also has a small scent of a sunscreen smell I would say if you’re gonna buy this, make sure to pair it with another fragrance or we’re not too much of it. Bought this as a gift based on the notes given in the description and everybody loved it! I was going for more of a subtle scent for a friend but overall it had a semi sweet refreshing smell that wasn’t overwhelmed with musk like I initially was a bit worried about. It’s light which was perfect for my friend. Only thing that I hated was the bottle leaked whenever sprayed but that’s because I have sensory issues and want everything to not be slippery. It’s a great price and worth the cost and I’d consider buying a bottle for myself in the near future ... show more
