Ok, so I've just started ordering perfumes from Amazon based on the amount of reviews it has. This was a blind buy. No one really said how it smelled or compare it to anything.....so I took the leap. The package was very nice, arriving in a box with velvet-ish lining. The bottle itself has weight to it; giving it a high end department store feel. In my opinion the perfume gives a unisex feel. It smells so good. I smell a woody, slight masculine, oud under tone, but not over bearing. Its giving grown and sexy, date night, special occasion vibes....not an everyday wear. I really like this fragrance. The original Oud For Greatness by Initio is well out of my price range so when I heard that there was a clone that was 80% of the way there for a fraction of the price I had to try it. I will say I personally really love the spiciness of the fragrance on me. It makes me feel very masculine and rich like a Raja or Sultan of old. That being said it’s an incredibly strong fragrance. Some people will like it, some people will hate it. You will smell like a middle-eastern man who wears white button downs and ray bahns and drives a white bmw. If that’s not the vibe you’re going for this fragrance isn’t for you. But if that is the vibe you’re going for grab it. I would not recommend this for men of european or african descent. This is very much a middle-eastern smelling fragrance and it is clearly designed with the body chemistry of men from that part of the world in mind. ... show more

I have both and while the original (oud for greatness) does smell 'more expensive' simply because of the woodier opening, it can be a bit harsh for some... oud for glory however, with the opening, it gives you a bit of a sweeter opening and when dried down they both smell pretty good, projection on the oud for glory isn't as great as oud for greatness but it's up there... this would better be used in the night or a colder setting but i would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a classy gentleman scent and not trying to break the bank ... show more

Decent fragrance with a luxurious presentation, but it falls a bit short in effectiveness. The warmth of the oud and spice combination is nice, creating a rich and bold opening. However, it doesn’t last as long as I expected, fading within a few hours. In terms of wearability, it leans more toward special occasions than everyday use due to its intensity. I really have never disliked any fragrances that Lattafa has put out, but this one seriously let me down. The bottle is heavy and durable, but what’s inside is what doesn’t match the appearance! The smell comes off very strongly as pencil shavings! Literally, it reminds me of sharpening my pencil in grade school as a kid!!! The scent dies down to something pleasant after a couple minutes, but within an hour, it has completely disappeared!!! I’d have to literally spray myself again every thirty minutes or so to keep the scent on my body. I don’t know if it’s a bad batch, or is really this terrible! I listened to great reviews about it on YouTube, and it’s what compelled me to make the purchase. If you have to reapply it every thirty minutes, then how long is a bottle going to really last??? This is literally money gone in the wind!!! ... show more
