I read reviews before buying stuff on Amazon. Some of the reviews said how thin the towels were so they sent them back. Others said they really fluff up after washing and drying them. When I received them I thought they were about the flattest towels I had ever bought. Not impressive at all. Had I not read the comments about washing them before sending them back, I would have not kept them. After I washed and dried them one time they became the fluffiest, most absorbent towels you could hope for. Incredibly soft. And, of course, I kept them. Even after washing theses towels and wash cloth BLED color badly . I wouldnt buy again I bought a Dan River set also close to same color and they dont bleed They were soft and absorbent the color was nice but leaving that color all over when using it makes it a NO go for me
