Weighs almost nothing at all. does not seem to affect flight and folds up for easy storage. At first I thought it wouldn’t stay on, but then I realized I had it too far forward. Even in windy conditions does not seem to affect the drone.

The gimble protector must be removed to attach the landing gear to your drone. Other than that it is very light and shouldn’t hinder your flights or significantly drain your batteries.

Wonderful landing gear. I thought I would have to remove it every time I would put the gimble protector on but lo and behold it works with the landing gear. Highly recommend it and it just snaps on and your ready to go. Does not affect the way it flys or . It looks a little flimsy but it'll do the job ... show more

It's very usefully because is light, but strong for normal operation, and protect the drone propeller and camera against leaves, or stones, or dust materials.

    • They did not fit properly on the mini 3. they would not fold all the way when putting away.
This did not fit nicely on the DJI MINI 3 drone. They snapped on just fine but when you tried to fold them, they would not fold completely. The design was wrong and because i could not fold them all the way, i sent them back. very disappointed.

This just arrived today. At first I feared that it was NOT made for my DJI Mini 3 because I was at a loss to attach it to the underside of my drone. I thought maybe I had read the description wrong and that it only fit a Mini 3 PRO. When I looked at the listing again I noticed that the battery was in place with the landing struts added. I slipped a battery in my drone and all was well. I flew the drone for about an hour land on various uneven surfaces that had previously kept it from taking off or landing. It worked great. It does not seem to alter flight characteristics at all. It weighs only 15grams (about 1/2 oz). The plastic that it is constructed with is slightly flexible which I expect will help with abrupt stops. I am pleased with this addition to my DJI Mini 3 drone. ... show more
