OH MY GOSH! I am obsessed with this perfume. So I usually gravitate towards perfumes with vanilla, amber, florals, or fruit. I tend to like warm, creamy, sensual, feminine perfumes that smell sophisticated without trying too hard. Or modern florals, as long as they still have some warmth and depth. I don’t usually like super sweet perfumes or dessert like vanilla scents. So when reading the notes for this Vanilla Nude perfume, it sounded like exactly the type of perfumes I usually love, and I was right. First of all, the bottle is so pretty. It’s this frosted mliky ombré pink with a little sparkly pink ribbon on top. The glass feels thick and high quality. From the moment I smelled it, I fell in love. It is strong and noticeable without being overpowering. It is intentional. Like a women who isn't trying too hard, but is aware of how beautiful she is. That is the best way I can describe it, if that makes sense. When I first spray it, I smell a creamy jasmine mixed with a sweet vanilla that has some depth to it. It smells sophisticated and feminine, but still soft and velvety. There is almost a clean skin smell to it, but in the best way. Not laundry clean, just naturally beautiful. Even after drying down, I wouldn’t say the scent changes much. If anything I think it sweetens a bit and gets a bit more creamy and velvety while still staying the same overall. All the notes blend really well together instead of fighting for attention. I can actually smell a hint of each one every time I smell it, which is a lot. When wearing this perfume, I can’t stop smelling my wrists. I would say it has moderate projection. At first, I thought it was going to be stronger, but I apprentice that it is not. I get headaches easily, espeically from scents, and this one is perfect. People will absolutely be able to smell it when around you, but it is not so strong that people across the room can smell you, and its not so soft that you barley get a whiff only if somebody is close to you. It is like the perfect middle ground. Will grab peoples attention without smacking them in the face when walking by. It sprays a fine, even mist that covers a good amount of area without all the perfume landing in one spot. But it’s not so fine that I have to hold it super close to my skin either. I truly love eveything about this perfume. I am and at myself for not getting the bigger size bottle to begin with. Especially because it ends up being a better value for the money. This is one of my all time favorite perfumes, and I have a lot. Even though it smells luxurious, this is one of those perfumes that works for anything. It is not too sexy or sweet for daytime wear, but also not too dramatic that is only works for special occasions. It just makes you smell classy and put together. I could honestly go on forever about this perfume. Since getting it, this is the one I reach for everyday time I go to put on perfume. Pretty much my signature scent now. I will absolutely be buying the bigger bottle, and honestly probably even the travel size one too so I can have one in my purse at all times. Nice scent but a little too musky for me. But I like the iris and bourbon vanilla notes. It's definitely long lasting. It's a little pricey. But if you like these notes, the cost is worth it.
