Okay, I have not used them on ice yet… but I just got then and I am veerryyy exited. The only thing I did not like was that on one of the skates, on the front it was kinda peeling off as shown in one of the pics :/ And something else I noticed is that by the screws of the blades, their was like a stain or rust, I’m not really sure But other than that everything else is fine Im usually a size 7 in woman’s but I decided to get a 6 because of all the other reviews saying to size down They feel fine but I think with the size 7 I would have had more space, so maybe just stick to your original size. Their really good for the price. They were like 50$ I see that now the price has gone up These are my very first skates and I didnt want super expensive ones right away So these were perfect I am a beginner skater so I’m not really sure if their good for spins and all that, but for sure their waayy better than the rental skates Over all I recommend buying them :) ... show more

all i have to say is wow. these are beautiful skates. i got them earlier than expected and they’re perfect. reading these reviews was definitely a little confusing but y’all: these are so worth it. i’m a size 8 shoe so i decided to go down one size. they fit perfectly. i also had on thick socks and they fit snug and comfortable. the ankle support is wonderful - MAKE SURE YOU TIE THEM TIGHT!! some don’t realize if you don’t tie them tight, you’re not gonna feel good ankle support. keep in mind your feet and ankles will need to get used to the skates too. i would recommend wearing fuzzy socks if they’re too big or if you think they’re going to be painful inside to wear. put padding inside as well if you don’t want to wear thick socks. the overall material is great. it’s thick and will hold up for a while. these skates are not meant for competitive figure skating, they’re recreational skates. i’m 20 and an actress - with covid shutting theatres down, who knows when i’ll be back on a stage. learning how to ice skate and eventually figure skate have always been dreams of mine to accomplish. i can’t wait to go to the rink. get these skates!! ... show more

Initially I bought the size 7 for my 13 year old daughter but was conflicted as some reviews said, "Buy the same size as shoe size!" And then others said, "Buy a size up!" It's hard to buy online and when we went to a store to try them on they didn't have her size so I took a leap of faith and bought the size 7. Mistake. Too small!! So returned that one and then bought a size 8 and the size 8 fits well with a bit of room to grow, she'll have to wear thicker socks for now. The blades are NOT sharpened and unlike what some other reviewers purported the skates are NOT GOOD to skate on with unsharpened blades unless you like to go super slow....Our local rink sharpened ours for six bucks and we were on our way. A little disappointed that the seller decided to charge $29.99 for the size 7 and $42 for the size 8. Talk about a price gouge .... ... show more

    • Awesome beginner skates!!
I'm 25 and in my quarter life crisis to be up front. I decided ice skating was going to be my new hobby. I didn't want to pay a crazy amount of money for skates that could potentially not be my hobby in a year. These skates have been FANTASTIC at rinks. Even seasoned skaters have inquired about them. When I tell them the price I got them at, they're blown away at the deal! I wear an 11 in women's US shoes. The 10 fits me perfect with a little wiggle room. I wear them with fuzzy socks and I think the fit is awesome. The blades aren't sharpened when you get them. They're not super dull, but they do need to be sharped eventually. I skated fine with them right out of the box. I had great ankle support in these and I have pretty weak ankles from breaks in the past (lol this quarter life crisis will end well, I know). But I didn't feel wobbly at all in these skates. They're leagues better than the clunky rentals you get at rinks. If you're just looking for good working skates without a crazy price point, these are great! ... show more

Almost perfect. I'm just a beginner but go often to the ice rink. Don't know if this hobby will pass so I didn't want to put too much money in this. The previous comments helped A LOT. They're not sharpened as the seller mentionned and your size will depend like any shoes at any store ...( I have shoes from 7 to 8 and half in my closet). However the blade is not flat at the heel a bit like shoes for Hockey. from what specialists told me " they are recreational " ... show more
