Epic wheels, great construction. They are only slightly heavier than stock plastic wheels. The tires do not come with it, I bought them somewhere else.

The finish was clean and these aluminum rims are lightweight. I was at my local hobby shop looking for tires and he had told me that he is carrying less wheels packages and tires and leans more towards pre-glued stuff. He informed me that Aluminum Wheels are the worst and I will not be able to keep the glue attached to the metal. I am ordering some Loctite Ultra Gel super glue as it claims it has good bonding with rubber and metal. I was hoping to be able to reuse the rims and reduce the chipping from plastic wheels. I have a 4tec 3.0 that killed the tires day 1 after and hour of hard fast drifting. Wheels were chipped and the rubbers all became unglued. We need better options. Factory set of 4 wheels and tires which seems to be the only option is $55 bux a pop. So if I want to play it cost me $55. If anyone has better ideas to play cheaper, let me know. I'm still a newb at this. ... show more
