    • Not as warm as I thought they would be.
My father and brother both have a previous model of the areohead 7mm but in the 18" that Ive wore deer hunting for a couple of years. I'm assuming LaCrosse discontinued that model which is a shame. I feel like the sport isn't as warm and doesn't fit as nice. Overall I'm happy with boot but I don't think I can wear them in the deerstand if temps drop much below freezing. They're real nice for walking and provide just enough support so they're perfect for pheasant hunting. One last thing I'm typically a 10 1/2, the 11 boot is a little big for a normal pair of socks so depending on what temps your using them in you may want to consider a size down or up as they don't come in 1/2 sizes. ... show more

Very quick shipping... have not had the chance to wear them hunting.. tried them on and I could feel the warmth inside can’t wait till hunting season...made it out deer hunting. These are not for sitting in cold temps. Not what I expected

I ordered the Sport 7.0 but they sent me the Sport 3.5 snake boots. I tried them out and decided to keep them. The fit was bigger than I expected but I added a gel insole and they fit perfect now, very comfortable.

I have these in the 3.5 mm for milder hunts, and just got these 7 mm for colder weather. Both are extremely comfortable and warm. Wore them this weekend in 25 degree weather and did not get cold feet.
