This looks exactly like the photo. The headband is flexible and comfortable to wear. The mask has non-stretchy ribbons attached to each side that tie in the back of the head. The mask looks much better if hair is pulled over the top to hide the tied ribbon. The wings, like many items, arrive quite wrinkled and must be ironed to look good. They attach via a collar that has a velcro closure at the front of the neck and to a finger on each hand via elastic loops. This is long. It will touch the ground for anyone 5' 3" tall, so if you are that height or shorter, it will only be possible to wear this if you can make up the difference with higher heels. Tiny lights have been sewn along the edge. They have nothing to do with being a butterfly, but I imagine they would be fun, and a safety feature in the dark. There is a separate light string for each wing with the on/off control near the neck. After removing the tab that keeps the button battery from making contact, pushing the tiny button once will cause the lights to blink furiously, more than 4 times per second. Pushing it a 2nd time slows the blink time a bit. A third push causes the lights to stay on continuously, and a 4th push turns them off. With arms held horizontally out to the side, this costume looks amazing from the back. The main thing I don't like about it is that the fabric is not printed on the inside, so with arms outstretched, it doesn't look so amazing viewed from the front.

It is very pretty with vibrant colors. But unfortunately after using it just for 2 hours the LEDs stopped working. Would not recommend it due to its cheap quality.

I got this for my 14 year-year-old daughter and she wore it on 3 different occasions. The costume survived trick-or-treating, a school party, and another party. The lights worked the entire time and the wings are beautiful. The headband was comfortable. The mask was too small and it was going into her eyes so she didn't wear it at all. The velcro closure on the neck was rough, so she had to wear a neck gaiter underneath, but that was not a big deal. Overall, this was a good purchase.

This adult butterfly costume is definitely worth the cost since it's fairly inexpensive. All of the different parts of the costume look as pictured, although the mask is poorly constructed (but still wearable). In addition to that, I would not recommend purchasing if you are plus size (for reference, I'm 5'6 and wear an L in shirts) because the wings are held up by a wrap around your neck that will definitely be too tight! I was actually not able to wear this costume because it choked me but a thinner friend of mine wore it without issue! Also want to note that the lights did work perfectly and were a nice touch.
