I wear these everyday. They do the trick
I bought these for to wear to my college graduation in the winter of 2017. So around 11 months ago. I had to foot the bill (hehe) and these bad boys were a reasonable price. They looked great, just how i expected them to look. They are a lighter brown than what you typically see, which is what I was looking for. I rarely used them after graduation. Quick break for some pros: -Price was great for a college budget -Looked professional -Seemed like genuine leather to me (i really have no idea I'm not a shoe expert) Cons: -The bottoms are kinda hard. I expect this is what it is like for most dress shoes? Not really that bad. Just thought i would put that in there for the sensitive feet out there. They work for me. Not as comfortable my friends Cole Hanns or however you spell it, but that is to be expected -Kinda have a weird smell to them, but i think that is from the leather Then comes big boy job searching. I wore them with slacks and a blazer (I was too broke for a suit). The look was professional. Nailed a job interview got a job in Wine sales. I am walking all day in my stores, moving wine cases around, stooping and kneeling. These puppies are still looking good and doing what they are supposed to do, even after all the wine I have spilled on them. I get a lot of compliments, about my shoes, from people in my accounts. All around, a good starter pair for a fair price. I will be looking to upgrade at some point, but in the meantime, these will fit the bill. ... show more

Great classic shoe! Order a size down

I bought the Splendo-1 classic black cap toe, and I was a little worried reading the comments about this shoe fitting large. I have a narrow foot size 12, so I ordered a full size down (11) since there wasn't a half size. I was very glad, because even with putting an additional medium-thin insole in the shoe, it fits just perfect. If had ordered 12 I would have been wearing a boat! The one thing I'll say is that the leather is very stiff and will take some breaking in. But I have done that with good shoes before. Once you get past a few days of sore spots or blisters, it will calm down. I put some Lexol non-darkening neatsfoot oil on them to help soften them up, then I'm going to do some serious walking. Maybe I'll put an update on my post after breaking them in. Overall, they look great and well-made, and I hope they will last. Just be aware that they run large. ... show more

No it was delivered I had to go get it at post office. Then when I asked to sign she said o no just pick up no signature. Lady said sometimes they don't like to get wet it was raining. I was thinking I just pulled 12 hours all night but I had to go get my shoes. The ones the said delivered today. I had good energy I wanted to see those good looking dress shoes. After opening box they looked so cheap. Yes they was in a bag like they're really expensive shoes. I think they bin watching people that mad thier shoe and was proud of them. I order wide ten have they looked slim and no way. My foot went in and it's wider no than it was. These shoes are not fit to size. Maybe someone was trying to get them out fast didn't notice wide. Now they don't fit I'll pay to ship them back or drive a hundred miles to go to a real ups store. While in jackson Tn I'll fix my problem and buy nice dress shows. Really good shoe for a great value, but don't expect perfection

As an ex-military office, I have worn a lot of leather shoes for daily use. These shoes are really nice and shine up well. For the price, you really can't beat them. However, I did run into a few issues and would still recommend them regardless. Within two months, the soles had come un-glued. Annoying, but easily fixed at my local shoe repair shop for a fraction of the cost of the cost of a new pair of shoes. Within six months, the shoes laces were wearing out and needed to be replaced. Again, easily fixed for a very low cost. For the cost, I will buy these again--they do look like a much more expensive shoe and feel great. Just be prepared for some maintenance. ... show more
