I remember these from my childhood in the 1940’s. A wonderful, pleasant nougat candy. What I didn’t remember was how difficult each morsel is to open. Therefore, I don’t recommend these as gifts for seniors who have lost their manual dexterity unless there’s someone on hand to unwrap them.

Used to get these as a child when my widowed mother worked in an Italian delicatessen. They were a treat for my sister and I at Christmas. We used to save the small boxes and play with them until they fell apart. Such good memories, and they taste exactly the same. Thank you!
