Compared to other cheaper furniture this desk is one of the best pieces of "Build it yourself" furniture I have ever purchased, for the price. Instead of cheaply made plastic legs this desk comes with all metal parts, thicker plasterboard wood tops, and metal structural supports to keep this desk sturdy. If put together properly {which took about 1 1/2 hours to do with 2 people} This desk can withstand being stood on by me {185 lbs} can withstand being knocked over. {which I did when it was half assembled} and has held my console and laptop as well as my feet. by far the best buy for the money, if you have the space. ... show more

Leg room and sturdiness are objective pros you'll find with this L desk. The assembly part can be hard for some, however. Another meh moment for me was realizing that this 66 inch desk appeared larger in the Amazon image than it actually is. It's not wide from wall to belly as I'd like it to be, but it's actually a well crafted desk and the surface has a nice polish to it so no residue clings. ... show more

Love the size of the desk but putting it together was difficult. A lot of the screws were not aligned all the way. I had to push and shove part around to get it right. Shipping had given it a couple gashes in the compressed wood. For what I paid for it. It was worth having big gashes. Usablility is pretty darn good.
