This crib was everything we were hoping for. Easy to set up and take down and perfect for easy storage when not in use.The wheel bumpers do not have to be used if you choose not too...they do not affect the stability of the crib. The wheel locks hold the crib in place, but we did have it set up against a wall. Our grandson was 10 months old and 30 inches tall when he came to visit and he slept comfortably through the night the entire time he was with us. The mattress did not meet our daughters standards...she and her husband are adamant about chemical content (no pvc,phalates, polyurethane,melamine,formaldehyde,BPA,etc.) and the exact materials can not be determined from the labeling.We purchased a portacrib mattress and mattress pad, and organic cotton fitted portacrib sheet from Naturepedic and they were perfect. The Naturepedic mattress is between 2 and 3 inches thick and very sturdy. It fit this crib beautifully leaving no gaps.I would HIGHLY recommend this portacrib...price,construction,and convenience are all perfect. ... show more

Very nice quality, easy to set up. The only glitch was Velcro on the strap was the same on each strap so would not stick together. I had Velcro & added it to one side. Grand baby has not slept in it yet, will be trying it out in a couple of weeks! Very sturdy and safe. It also arrived with a Nylon storage case & was happily surprised by this. The mattress seems okay for awhile, but may need an upgrade when baby is 1 or over not sure of this though- our first grand baby.. Great crib for grammy & grampy's house. Love the wheels. I use these cribs in my licensed family child care. My own children are no longer in cribs but this gets used several times per day! I LOVE this crib. It is extremely sturdy. I love that it folds flat and can be tucked away at the end of the day. The mattress that came with this crib is thick and firm yet comfortable. My daycare baby sleeps like an angel in this! I will never buy any other type of pack and play or portable crib. I will definitely be replacing my last pack and play with another one of these cribs. ... show more

    • Good crib, but TERRIBLE customer service
I'm co-owner of a daycare center, and we have about 14 of these cribs for our two baby rooms. They are fairly solid, decently priced, and easy to put together. However, we have had issues with some bearings falling out of the caster wheels, and eventually the wheels completely falling apart once all of the bearings are gone. Tried to email L.A. Baby about ordering replacements about a month ago, and still have yet to receive word on where I can make a payment for those replacements. Being short 2 cribs in a daycare baby room is not a good thing, and it's getting increasingly frustrating that the customer service is so lacking. I would rate the cribs 4-stars (5 if they didn't have the issues with the wheels), but the customer service so far I would rate a 1. Simply not replying to customers who need to order something from you to fix a broken product is completely unacceptable in any business. So in short, the cribs are pretty good, the customer service of L.A. Baby is not at all. ... show more

    • Mobility, solid construction!
I am a grandparent. My daughter wanted more fancier crib, but later had to agree with me: you can’t beat the mobility! Easy to move around, very sturdy. And it folds in seconds for easy storage! Not adjustable mattress hight though,- minus.

    • I love this crib
I love this crib, I can take my grandson outside while I water the plants. Very sturdy not to big, it fits thru the doors. I can move around the house with him at my side and very happy. He is off the ground level, like most porta cribs are these days. Highly recommended
