When I read the other reviews I was terrified. Assembly was a no-brainer! The candles that come with it are too short, get the taller ones (sold on amazon also). The quality of the item was extremely poor. Actually one cannot imagine anything poorer. Many of the pieces that make up the base were broken off as if you got a kit that you had to assemble yourself. The wooden fir tree was cracked in half. The actual carousel could not function because the little porcelain cup that supports the rotating pole had a huge chip in it. Buyers beware and avoid t all costs!!! ... show more

This Christmas pyramid is too cute. I love the hand painted wooden figures. The candles enclosed are a little too short for this item, in my opinion. The little candles work O.K. but longer candles work better and look nicer. I purchased 4 inch candles to use with this Christmas pyramid. The candles that come with this Christmas pyramid are about half the height of the other candles I purchased to work with this pyramid. ... show more

Some figurines broke off in shipping and had to be hot glued back on. Metal rod bent a tiny amount on second day and stopped rotating. Might be able to fix it, not sure. Still, this is a pretty good item is your'e careful with it. It looks almost as nice as much more expensive pyramids and worked well before I bent it. ... show more

    • Hole sizes for assembly did not match. But beautiful look and great height.
Beautiful concept but poor craftmanship and attention to assembly detail. The holes were not drilled well for assembly making it difficult and impossible to actually fit the pieces together for the fan. My husband, whom I gifted this for was not impressed. For the price-point of $50, I would have hoped it would be better quality or at least more attention to detail with hole sizes. Even the shapes of the blades for fan were all different sizes. Just not impressed. The fan part did not hold together well so we returned this item. The idea and design though is very pretty. Loved that it had the nativity scene characters, the color and the height / size of it all was great. ... show more
