It fits exactly as I hoped. It has a flattering fit, not too long, not too tight. I was pleasantly surprised that the neck is a little wider than the listing picture shows. I love the way it fits! I can wear it with jeans or leggings and not feel self-conscious. The buttons are a cute detail and they don't get in the way or weight the shirt down at all. The best surprise about the shirt though was the material itself. I included a picture of me stretching the material to show how thick it is. It has a great thickness and comfortable weight. I love this dress. The fit is truE to size. I am 5’7 38D and 189lbs. I ordered and XL and it is perfect. The dress has an angle so the side with the buttons went to my knee while the shorter side rested mid thigh. I wore as a dress with a long scarf and Over the knee boots and it looked amazing. This dress is not something I would later a cardigan over, I tried and it looked horrible. I would recommend this as a stand alone dress or long tunic to wear with leggings dressed up with a scarf or cute long necklace. I had multiple compliments while wearing it. The dark green color is beautiful and the material is nice. It’s like a very thick t-shirt. It fits very well and drapes comfortably. I am pear shaped with larger hips and often tunic length shirts are too tight on my hips but this is not. The buttons are a cute detail. My only complaint is that the sleeves are too short. I’m 5’3, 38B & 145 pounds with a lot of weight in my stomach. It goes to my knees. I think a small would have been fine in length and stomach but my guess is that it would be snug under the armpits as I have back and arm fat and it would make it uncomfortable and more noticeable with a smaller size. So If you’re 50ish and have flaws like these don’t size down, stick with your true size. I like this so much that if it washes well I’ll be ordering a few more colors. I purchased a pair of leggings to match and if they work I’ll update the review. One of the other reviews was kind enough to share she bought leggings from “the legging gallery” for $11 on Amazon and they go great with this top. I’ve got this top in every color now and my mom has as well. This would give so many different options to style these tops for church without looking like I’m rewearing the same thing every week. It’s rare I find something that looks really nice on my pear shaped flabby body so this is a 5 star review minus the stains and hopefully after washing. ... show more

These tunic dresses are so very comfortable. The fabric is soft, and I even wore one as a nightshirt, as I had forgotten to pack one when I was visiting a friend. I now have four of them. I want to start by saying I love this cute wine red tunic/dress! I definitely recommend buying it. I ordered it in a small (I wear XS to S) and it fit nicely—falling correctly at the shoulders and loose around my hips. The color is true to the picture, a wine red with tan buttons—they are only for decoration. The soft material is not as heavy as a cotton sweatshirt, but it is heavier than a thick cotton tee-sheet. As a tunic/dress, the length worked well for me—about 4 inches above my knee at it’s shortest length and mid-knee at the longest part of the asymmetrical hem. The round neckline is slightly lower than a tee-shirt’s neckline which is what I wanted. It would be stylish as a casual tunic/dress for a fun evening out or as a cute day-running-errands tunic/dress. For my friend’s birthday party, I wore a black, burgundy, and purple silk-infinity scarf with it, and I received nothing but compliments! It was cute with my black leggings and boots, but I think it would look nice with a pair of skinny/regular jeans. Even though I choose to wear a silk tank top under it, I’m usually very cold, it was not necessary. Out of the bag, it didn’t have an odor, and it was easy to iron out the slight winkles with the iron on a low heat. Since I haven’t washed it yet, I can’t comment about how well it responds to being laundered. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 108 lbs, 34B, 27” waist and 35” hips. ... show more

I am very disappointed with the coffee flower version of this dress, it looks and fits great except that it has a strangely unnecessary seam across the upper chest just above the boobs. It’s not part of the design and doesn’t appear on any of the other colors or even on this one on the website. I just checked again and blew up every sample photo to see if I just didn’t notice it, but nope, this dress is slightly different than the one shown, and not in a good way. I could tolerate it if the random seam didn’t break the pattern above and below, but it does, and looks bad. Knocked off 2 stars for this. I really like these dresses and have several colors, I really like this one too, but this seam is a dealbreaker. I am wondering if it was a fluke, as we’ve all read other reviews where a different item than what you thought you were getting, or a similar version accidentally sent… don’t know if I return and reorder this color if I’ll get the same thing. We will see, because I just decided while writing this that I’m not keeping this one. UPDATE 1/28 Sadly, the replacement had the same seam across the upper chest. Evidently any dress of the brown coffee flower variety will have this seam. It looks to be unnecessary to the fit or make of the dress, as none of the other the other colors has it.
