They are easy to clean and since they are spring form the sponge comes out easier. You also get tin liners so it's super easy to move them from the liner to the boards, which you also get three of. You also get 2 different decorating spatulas as well as a regular spatula, along with a whisk. There are a ton of sculpting tools for fondant as well as little letter cutouts. I have been wanting to learn how to decorate cakes and cupcakes, but when I went to my local big box crafter stores, the selection was a bit daunting and the prices were high...this entire set put everything I need for learning in a simple complete kit of good quality products at a fraction of the cost of what the chain craft stores charge. The quality seems to be really good, especially for the price of less than $40 for everything!!! This set goes beyond just basic cake decoration, with enough tools to try my hand at chocolates, cookies, and other deserts, as well as access to a helpful e-book guide that can also be downloaded or printed. The turntable is well made, sturdy, and turns smoothly. The springform pans are good quality and function well. The pipette, tips, and other baking essential hand tools seem of good quality. I am so thrilled to have this set for learning!

This is a fantastic set for the beginner baker. It has everything you need to decorate beautiful cakes and cookies. I haven't used or washed anything yet I will come back and update the review in a few days to include that but as I unboxed it - I could see the quality was really good especially at the price point. It definitely have everything you will need and even some extras including an ebook that can be downloaded. This is definitely a score for a hobbist or someone just getting started with baking and decorating.
