We’ve had multiple styles in adults & kids from uggs in the past, but we never tried kookaburra cold-weather items before. Although we haven’t started using them, we can tell it’s good quality by checking the item, and upper leather feels and looks nice. The soles doesn’t seem to be not as anti-slip structured as I hoped for. They are warm and cozy, nice classic boots w extra sparkles w stars make them the little girl extra fancy. they are more cost friendly compared w ugg. My kid normally wears size 11, and we ended getting this item in 12 expecting wear them w thicker socks & hoping a room for to grow. They are big! They look big and definitely one (or 2!?) size bigger. We may try w the thick winter socks this coming winter, but will be worn more next year as she grow more. Ugg as the parent company, I feel like kookaburra items should have good reputation & are trusted for their quality, so i hope they last enough for my kid’s wear. I buy these boots for my two girls every year. I have my own short Ugg boots that I use for years, but the girls destroy their boots and grow out of them after one season, so these cheaper Koolaburra boots are great. The only real difference I can tell is that these have faux fur on the inside lining, but they're still very soft and not something my kids notice (and again, I don't think it's something that matters as much when you're using them for one year). This style with the stars is just like the classic short boot but with the shiny stars on the shaft, which is perfect for my younger one who is a little extra. She's 5 years old and typically wears an 11 or 12 shoe (~6.8in foot length) and these look big, but fit well on the inside. These are nice and warm for the winter and they're not waterproof, but I'd recommend a waterproofing spray to try and keep them decent through the winter. ... show more

My toddler loves boots. We sized up so she would have plenty of room to grow into these. The packaging was great. I do wish the suede came pretreated. We will need to treat them before she wears them in the rain or snow, but that’s true of all suede shoes. Toddler and adult approved. We get compliments on these almost everywhere we go! We got these for my daughter and she is thrilled with them. She gets compliments on them almost every time she wears them. Just feeling them, holding them, and looking them over, they are obviously high quality and the inside is very fluffy and comfortable. Highly recommend these!
