I've had the runner for 4 years, and it's easy to get the refills once you know which one to look for (there are multiple sizes). It's a solid bond, but allows for repositioning at first placement.     • Totally Worth It!
Since I started using this dot liner tape for my card-making craft, I haven't wanted to use anything else. The downside is that I can't jump in my car and go buy more when I run out because my local stores don't carry it. Luckily, I can get refills on Amazon. This is the larger size which is 10mm wide. Most of the refills offered on Amazon are for the 8.4mm tape runner, so be sure you're purchasing the correct size. I wish I could buy 1 or 2 refills at a time instead of 5, but this is the only set of refills offered for the 10mm size dispenser. I was hesitant to spend over $20 for 5 refills, so I decided to buy cheaper dot liners from local hobby stores. After spending probably $40 on many different brands and not being happy with any of them, I realized that this tape is well worth the price. It's super easy to change the cartridges; it glides smoothly and effortlessly across the paper; it has a nice strong hold even on heavy card stock; and best of all, after you apply the tape, you can place the paper where you plan to tape it and if you don't immediately press down, there seems to be a slight delay in adhesion - so if you need to reposition your paper, you have a few seconds to do so before the tape permanently adheres to the surface. ... show more

    • Best tape runner for paper crafts
I love this tape runner - it's my favorite for card making or scrapbooking. It never jams or folds back on itself, it's easy to refill and it's longer than any other comparable tape runner. It's the only one I buy anymore.

    • THE Best Craft Adhesive
I have been a fan of Kokuyo adhesive since it was first introduced, around 2007. It holds fast and is truly a permanent adhesive. One of the things I like best is the fact that it's a dry adhesive, made up of tiny dots of dry-ish glue, which can simply be rubbed away if it is accidentally placed where it doesn't belong, or if you change your mind! Plus, once it affixes permanently, Un-Du Adhesive Remover will neutralize it and allow you to separate the adhered pieces, then replace them elsewhere. The combination of those two products has kept my crafting going strong for decades! I definitely recommend Kokuyo Adhesive for all your papercrafting needs!! ... show more

After trying lots of different tape runners on my handmade cards, I now use Kokuyo's long tape exclusively. It works well and refills pop in and out easily. Love that the adhesive gives you a short window of time to reposition something if necessary, but then it becomes permanent. Best of both worlds, and it's not messy liquid glue. ... show more

this is a great product, just know that you need to press hard when applying the tape, otherwise it doesn't adhere.

I have been using this for many years, recommending it to my students and friends as well. It has always been completely reliable. However, this last one I bought is not wound correctly and will not work. I am so surprised!!! I just looked at the reviews and I find that this appears to be a new general issue for the manufacturer. I hope they get it together, because this has been my favorite adhesive, by far! ... show more
