I am a plus size person and I really struggle with finding dresses that work for me, without adding on extra weight or being too clingy. I have been searching for something to wear to the Biltmore Estate for a Candle Light Christmas Tour for mine and my husband’s 5 year wedding anniversary in 2 weeks. It’s beautiful, and while the little gem things aren’t actually a belt, it gives the illusion of one and cinches at the waist, which helps give a little shape. I’m not extremely tall so I will have to pick the dress up as I walk, but it’s a maxi dress so that’s to be expected. I can’t wait to see what my husband thinks when we go on our trip! This has made me want to look for, and purchase more maxi dresses, including possibly some more of these in different colors (maybe even considering peeling the belt off for a more casual look with like a black one or something) I would absolutely recommend this dress to anyone. ... show more

I am so skeptical about buying clothes online. I’m pear-shaped and hate dress shopping in general, but we are doing a Bible guess who game at Church and I thought I would give this dress a try. I love it! It’s a bit too long, but I’m also 5’4, so I had to hem it up a bit so I could walk without tripping. I probably could have gone down a size, but decided to keep with this one. The dress covers my body, so while the top looks girly, my cleavage isn’t showing. It’s a thicker material and comfortable. Any complaints I have are more due to my own insecurities. And if you are wondering, I’m going as Eve (much later in life, obviously). With a scarf, headdress, and apples to handout with my snake companion, I’ll be rocking this dress and may wear it for other occasions as well. ... show more

Do not buy this dress.! Please. I'm saving you money and disappointment. When i opened the package i immediately noticed a horrible smell. Like... did sonebody die in it? The body was way too big while the arms were so small that the shoulder seam was missing arm. The embellishments under the breast are so cheap. Like a plastic bling sticker from Michaels or joanne. This is not even the half! All this plus let's not forget these ppl had the nerve to sell this junk for 60 bucks. I don't know if this will say that I'm a verified buyer but I iam. I won’t lie, I almost returned this dress because I didn’t realize it was made from polyester and spandex, fabric material I don’t like. But the moment I tried it on, I fell in love! And I could no longer bring myself to return it specially because it’s the one I’ll be using for my Maternity photo shoot. I’m in the final stretch of my third trimester, and it fit like a glove while still feeling comfortable. The coppery, rust orange color is slightly lighter than I expected, but it’s still beautiful. This dress is decent, although not exactly how I imagined. The fabric is stretchy but not a soft matte fabric like a jersey knit but more of a synthetic stretchy material with a slight sheen to it, like workout clothes or a bathing suit. The length is pretty good, I’m 5’9 and it falls right above my shoes but I have to tug it down every so often. I’d say the model in the photo is probably about 5’6”. The fit is good but I wouldn’t say it runs big like some of the other reviewers. The sleeves are very long though. The fabric is not that forgiving so plan on wearing some spanx, as even the the thinnest g-string is visible. The one other thing I’d say is important to know is that the beaded belt is not removable and is NOT GOLD. It is bronze color stones with rhinestone trim. I read plenty of reviews/questions that stated the belt was gold and so I purchased gold shoes and jewelry to match 😩. I am keeping the dress since I bought it for my engagement photo shoot this weekend and I just don’t have the time to figure out a new look. I was skeptical about buying a dress from amazon for a black tie wedding. I am ecstatic with this dress! I am a plus size woman. 2-3x 5’6” 260lbs. It is not easy finding clothes for an event. This dress is absolutely flattering in every way. The v neck is sexy without being over exposed. The length hits the floor and the pleats in the front under the detailing hide any sign of a tummy. This dress is so flattering that I will be wearing WITHOUT SHAPEWEAR! The rhinestone detailing under the bust is ok. However I opted to remove it (it is not sewn on it’s attached by adhesive) and add a beautiful rhinestone belt which added the elegance I was looking for. I purchased the xxl. I am 5'3, 250lbs, 42D chest size. XXL fit me perfectly. Don't go by what size you normally wear, trust the seller and you with chest measurements. I wore this dress with flat sandals, the length was perfect. Just brushed the top of my feet, so it wasn't so long I had to hold it up slightly while walking, which I what I usually end up doing with maxi dresses. I wore this to a friend's wedding. Was slightly worried it would be too hot for the 90 degree weather. Surprisingly it was not. Breathable, flowly, very comfy material. And the real color is gorgeous. Very nice dress.
