I received this dress today in black, size small. For reference I am 5'2.5" (36"bust, 28"waist, 36"hips) 34DD, 120lbs. The dress is beautiful, fit as expected with the exception of the arm holes being smaller than I thought they would be. I could tell from the pictures and reading the reviews the arm holes would be smaller than the" KOH KOH Women's Sleeveless Summer Halter Neck Floral Print Maxi Dress" I purchased in Turquoise (which is beautiful yet slightly different than this dress, with the arm holes being much looser than this dress!!), I just didn't think they would be quite that small. I am a petite size so I would suggest if you have larger arms you may not like the fit of this dress as it will make your arms look larger due to the cut of the top of this dress in front and back with small arm openings!!!! This dress is great quality, soft and flows beautiful and would be perfect for many occasions, I will have to hem it as it is way to long, which I knew. It is simple yet elegant, will look great with the dangling diamond earrings, diamond bracelet and diamond/black dress belt I ordered to wear on our cruise :) ... show more

It’s a gorgeous dress! The top fits perfectly: the neckline is not too high that it feels stifling, the bodice fits my waist perfectly, high armholes cover my bra without being too tight, halter top is still wide enough to cover arm fat and feel modest. The keyhole in the back is a perfect size to be flattering without being too revealing. Describing it in a word? “Elegant.” 2 small problems: 1) It’s extremely long! I’m 5’ 0” and I expect dresses to be too long, but this one would have to be hemmed up a good 4-5” to hit the floor for me. Not something I could fix with a pair of heels. 2) The fabric was glossier than I was expecting. It doesn’t feel cheap and has a substantial feel to it, but it catches the light more than I expected, so I’m going with a Chiffon instead for my Chorale concert. ... show more

This evening dress is gorgeous! I wasn't expecting much because of the price, but it had great reviews, and I needed it for an event this weekend. Amazon is saving lives! LOL!! I put it on, and it looks amazing. A little bit long, but I can fix that with some fabric tape for a temporary hem. The only negative, and it really isn't one, is I was hoping the crimson would have looked more red than maroon, but it is still beautiful. For reference I am 5'4", 220 lbs. Typically wear a XL comfortably, but ordered a XXL in this dress, and it fits just right with the elastic waist. Not too big and sloppy looking, nor too tight. Very disappointed in this dress and changes to this brand. I have a bunch of Koh Koh dresses formal and semi formal in my closet, and the quality of this dress is terrible. The material is super thin, nearly see through, and not the thicker, stretchier material that my other Koh Koh dresses are made of. The dress is fine and seems to be a nice quality material, however it wasn’t for me. The neckline is unflattering. It’s more of a high neck, boatneck neckline. It has a tie keyhole in the back, which is nice. You would have to wear a strapless bra because the shoulder is fully exposed. Cute, but I, personally, would prefer to wear a strapped bra. The length was shorter than I liked, which ultimately made the dress less fancy. I’m only 5’4” and it hit right at my ankle. I expected floor length, like the model, but this was more of a casual cut. It doesn’t have much of a flare at the bottom, so it doesn’t have that pretty flowy effect when you walk. Overall, I wouldn't say this is a “elegant sexy dress” as advertised. It’s definitely lacking and would require a good amount of accessories to dress it up! ... show more

I needed a dress for a winter formal wedding and, because of other reviews, thought I'd try this one. Amazon size finder told me I was a large which I knew was not correct. I'm 5'4 and 124lbs. I ordered the dark grey in a small. It was almost perfect, just a little snug. I decided I would try in a medium (love Amazon!) but they were out of grey so I ordered the orange which had been my second color choice. The top was a tad too roomy but would have been fine. However, the length of the orange medium was 5 inches longer than the grey small. By the next day, the grey medium was back in stock so I tried again with a grey medium and an orange small. The orange m is still longer than grey s by about 2 inches. I love love love the orange color but am going grey with 0 alterations! The dress itself is super comfy and hangs beautifully. The arm holes are high enough to keep the side boob concealed. The colors are super rich and it looks a lot more expensive than it is! ... show more
