I purchased 3 of these all different. This one is actually the length of my own bones. The neck hole is large so it won't be scratchy. I will definitely need to wear full length black underneath. But if the 3, this is the keeper.

    • Pretty Nice Quality. Very Large Poncho On My Petite Body.
For reference, I’m an eccentric Goth that typically wears a teen size S or XS and a 32B bra, I’m 5’4, 115 pounds, and I have the Theatrical Romantic Kibbe body type. I ordered this set to complement my typical wardrobe. The poncho’s neck opening is plenty wide enough to easily slip over my head, but it’s also a little too wide, as its opening extends past the ends of both of my shoulders so that it can simply slip over them and fall off. So to wear this poncho, I have to use fabric tape to keep it in place and am locked into wearing it all night. The bulk of the skeleton also doesn’t come close to matching my petite frame, what with the entirety of the pelvis design situating over my mid thighs. The longest part of this poncho reaches just below my knees. The pretty nice material is just soft enough to not feel annoyingly scratchy, and it feels surprisingly sturdy. All of the colors and lines look crisp, so I’d say this was made well. I really do think it’s a cute item, but it should probably have a wider variety of sizing options than the none it currently has. The mask actually looks extremely cute on my super small head and face. My eyes are pretty close-set, and unlike most other masks, the nose bridge of this one doesn’t obscure the entire inner portion of my eyes with material. The quality and construction of this mask is also surprisingly nice. Its quality only really lacks at the ribbon used to tie it in place. The ends of the ribbons have simply been trimmed to size, so they had already begun to fray before delivery. Overall, this is a cute and pretty good quality set for this reasonable price, but the poncho doesn’t accommodate smaller bodies very well, so I recommend sizing expansion. ... show more

This is such a fun and easy costume to toss on for those busy people that have a small amount of time to get their costume on before taking their kids out to Trick-or-Treat! The mesh material is decently made! Better quality than what can be found in the big box stores at the time! The price point for this printed mesh Skeleton poncho is very good! I really like this quick and easy costume for the busy parents! I think this would also be very good for pretty much anyone that has a busy schedule but loves to spend quality time with their kids! The image is very well printed on the mesh. The image (Skeleton) is level on the poncho. I've seen no flaws in the poncho or the print. Having said that, Anyone would have a great costume in a snap as this is a printed mesh poncho! And ponchos are able to fit most everyone! I feel this is well worth the asking price! ... show more

I am so pleasantly surprised by this piece. I can actually see me wearing it. It is shear but provides coverage. I can see me (a not super thin gal) wearing a body con type dress underneath and still feeling confident and comfortable. Let me say that I get that for the listing photo they were trying to show the full pattern/print but please put the shoulder blades on the BACK of your body where they belong. The only thing I would change is the neck hole to make it rounded rather than the slit shape, which makes me worry more about inadvertently ripping it. It also makes it a little harder to get this lined up on your body well - but once it is in place you are good to go. Maybe there is one more thing - no need to provide this mask, it seems out of place and mis-matched. ... show more

    • Fun and easy to wear
The KOFECIT Halloween Skeleton Poncho for Women, Lace Skeleton Cape Shawl, Halloween Costume w is a fun costume idea that you can use as a low key type of thing or put a little more effort into it and make it more spooky. The fabric is lightweight and soft to the touch so it is comfortable to wear. The head slit is big enough for any head but it doesn't slide off down your shoulders. I might put some fabric finger loops at the corners just so I have a little more control of the edges when I am wearing it. The mask is a fun lacy thing that looks like a cross between a bat or a cat so you could wear it anytime you need a mask for something. There is a distinct front side and a back side to the poncho. The skeleton has the rib cage in the front and the shoulderblades in the back. The model in the listing is wearing it backwards in every picture with the shoulderblades in the front. I chuckled when I noticed that. The darker the clothes you wear under it the more the skeleton will stand out [with all black being the ideal] but it still looks good even with other colors of clothing. The ponch folds up very small so it is easy to carry with you for any of your spooky needs. Great idea for when you don't have time for an elaborate costume. ... show more

    • So soft, I want to wear it all year around!
This shawl is amazingly soft & better quality than I anticipated since so many halloween things are only made to be used once a year. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s still a fine mesh lace & could still get caught on things & such so I would still handle with care, but it is a cute little goth accessory if you wanted to wear it all year around. Be aware that there is a front & back so the shoulder blades would go on the back. (In the listing picture she is technically wearing it backwards.) The mask is cute on its own but a bat & not a skeleton so it doesn’t quite go with the theme unless the theme is just general spookiness/halloween. ... show more
