Good addition to my pantry. Happened to be a good price which is why I bought it. Been purchasing groceries based on price then making meals based on that. In my experience the freshness and quality lasts for years, well beyond any best by date. I like creamy chicken because it goes with everything, can be doctored up, or can have broth added to it to use toward a big pot of cheap soup. Can further stretch it by adding in plain rice. It has a plenty of flavor (to me). Love Knorr products. Grow up: if you dont find it flavorful enough, why toss it? Donate it, or use other spices and flavorings to make it work. Currently $22! It has gone way up in price since buying this last month ($8.57 regular price, a buck less for Subscribe & Save, which is what I did), further reinforcing the need to "buy what you can while you can". When I saw these for around a $1 per packet, I figured that was the going price for a couple of years, and would soon go up. Sure did! Now if you are looking at this.. eh, it may be a matter of having something in your pantry while you can still buy something even if the price isn't ideal. As prices goes up, availability goes down, issues with crops around the world will catch up soon. We have food now because we are still working off of old harvests. Etc. Just get what you can while you can. Shop sales, shop regularly to take advantage of sales, prepare meals based on sales, and keep stacking your cupboards! (if no room, then take a storeage container and tuck away in a closet, underbed, or make a table out of it). BTW, I DO NOT rate on price. We can all see the price before ordering, we all have different budgets, needs, preferences, and prices fluctuate frequently. ... show more

Look, I bought this Knorr Creamy Chicken Rice Side Dish 8-pack thinking it was just another sad, microwaveable sidekick to my overcooked chicken nuggets. You know, the kind of thing that’s “edible” but mostly exists to fill the void in your soul (and plate) after a long day. Boy, was I wrong. This stuff is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS—way more than you’d ever think a packet of dehydrated dreams could be! The first time I made it, I followed the instructions like a pro (boil water, stir, simmer—rocket science, right?). But when I took that first bite? Angels sang. No, seriously, I think my smoke detector went off because the flavor was straight fire. Creamy, chicken-y perfection that hugs your taste buds like a long-lost grandma who’s secretly a world-class chef. It’s got this rich, savory vibe that makes you question your life choices: “Why have I been wasting money on takeout when this exists for like $2 a pack?” But here’s where it gets hilarious—my cat, Princess Leia (who usually ignores everything except laser pointers), straight-up tried to mug me for a spoonful.
