Still, it's perfect for the spot under a window that I had in mind. The instructions are easy to follow. If you've ever built any piece of ikea or target furniture then you can handle this with ease. The materials are nice and sturdy, and the finished product looks nice and doesn't wobble.

This was super easy to put together and it was the perfect size for my home office. I manage a lot of different projects and it’s very easy for me to lose documents quickly if I don’t stay organized. I use three ring binders to organize all of my different projects and that way I’m able to put my documents into those binders immediately so that they don’t get lost. This bookshelf was perfect to hold all of my different project binders. Whether it was something for work, for my son schools, for my church, for me personally, everything was able to fit onto the bookshelf and become easily accessible when needed. The bookshelf took about 10 minutes to assemble. We did use an electric screwdriver and that helped a lot. The parts lined up well. I didn’t have to spend a lot of time balancing the shelf and the sides to get the screw to go in nicely. Everything just lined up as it should have .

I honestly struggled putting this together by myself, it should probably be easy for you if you are good at building stuff. Once it was finally put together, it was nice and sturdy and the perfect size for what I wanted to use it for. It’s not a huge shelf, quite small.

Okay, I'll be super honest. The instructions suck. I've put together tons of furniture from Ikea, Walmart, Target, and a dozen or so online purchases. I've seen really easy instructions and almost no instructions. These are bad. Anyone saying that this was easy to assemble is either lying or they guessed right on the vague instructions. There is a part "J" needs to be talked about. First of all, the instructions tell you to just drop it in the hole. DO NOT DO THAT! I did that and then spent about 20 minutes fishing it out. First of all, the instructions don't provide any orientation and the diagram isn't clear. Secondly, orientation REALLY matters on this and they aren't all orientated consistently. The step that they are inserted is before the step when they are secured. It's obviously apparent what they are supposed to do. But trusting the instructions will steer you wrong. And then there's the fact that they are inserted oppositely on each side. Yeah, that's confusing. I didn't realize until several steps later and had to undo a few things. As with most furniture that needs to be assembled, the tools provided are quite lacking. Two tiny allen wrenches and very thin wrench. If you real have tools, just use them. If you don't, get some tools. I used my cordless drill for most of this. If you are using a cordless drill, I would recommend setting it on the lowest torque setting. The metal seems to bend very easily. And on that note, the picture of the item states that it can support 220 pounds. I weigh 215 and would not even think about sitting on this. The fact that the metal bent while putting in the screws on my drill's lowest torque setting does not give me confidence of the integrity of this shelf. All of those things being said, I actually, really love this shelf. It's beautiful and serves the purpose that I have for it. If the instructions were better, this would easily be a five. But something that should take 25 minutes or less to put together, but took over an hour... you lose two stars on this because instructions were really THAT bad.

Update 9/14/24: I was able to take out the foot of one of the legs by wiggling it back and forth to be able to push the bracket back in place. Previously, it had fallen down the shaft and I was unable to get it out. Once fully assembled this is a very sturdy little bookcase. We are using it for extra pantry storage for sodas and other items. Would recommend Previous review: This is a well organized bookshelf. Small and good for cozy area. Instructions are clear, and everything is sorted and labeled for you. Nothing was scratched or damaged, and it comes with tools to assemble. My issue (and this is probably just me) is that there are no spare parts. So please assemble carefully. and don't do what I did. Which is allow one of the four brackets to secure the structure fall down the tube. It is stuck, and I am unable to get it out. I tried to see if it would assemble without that bracket, but the side is far too wobbly to allow anything to sit on the shelf. I will probably use something else to brace the support legs. I'll update when I find a fix.

Not as big as it seems in the listing and no matter what I do it still has a wobble to it. Came with no instructions but it was extremely easy to figure out and put together. Over priced in my opinion
