The fit is great. I own these shorts in green and black. The purple is more of a lavender colour instead of the darker purple as shown in the picture. I will keep them regardless, since I already like the fit. Was disappointed about the colour difference.

I maybe could have worn these before I started weight training, when I was 100 pounds soaking wet. Now I’m a fit 125 and I look like I’m trying to fit my baby sister’s shorts. I easily can wear a size small in other ‘booty’ shorts, but I prefer mediums so I have room to grow and just fold the waistband over. My waist is 25”, my hips barely 36”. I had to shimmy and shake and hop to get these size mediums up over my hips, as these shorts have almost zero give. They are *not* stretchy like other booty shorts or pants. Surprisingly, they didn’t cut up into my crotch at all, but still somehow managed to flatten my butt, anyway😳 I might be able to wear an xl for all of two seconds, but nah. These shorts are cute but not worth the hassle - not when there are so many other options out there.

I was a little nervous and hesitant when ordering these shorts. I have a pear shaped body and shorts like these tend to roll up on my thighs. But girl let me just tell you!! They do all the things and I’m super impressed. They hold up in the washer and dryer. They lift you and keep your sucked in wonderfully. If it wasn’t the end of the summer I would be ordering more.
