  • The Best Spiral Hair Tie For You: The 8-pack brunette is the ideal set of spiral ponytail holders for thick hair of any color! Our plastic hair ties for curly hair are gentle on your hair. The smooth plastic and spiral design of these curly hair ties prevents tangling and hair breakage upon removal.
  • Help Prevent Bumps & Hair Headaches: The spiral design of hair spirals evenly spreads pressure across a larger hair surface, which reduces the dreaded ponytail bump on styled hair. These spiral hair ties for thick hair & hair coil ties prevent damage and strand breakage by spreading out the tension.
  • Cute In Your Hair and On Your Wrist: Kitsch Small Spiral Hair Ties for Girls are versatile essentials in various colors. Match your hair or add flair to top knots with these thin spiral hair ties. Coil hair ties for thin hair double as bracelets, transitioning easily to ponytails or messy buns.
  • Waterproof and Hygienic: Non-absorbent spiral hair ties for thin hair are perfect for swimming or bathing without the "nasty wet hair tie" feeling and are easier to remove from wet hair. Kitsch no crease hair ties are more hygienic than fabric-wrapped rubber bands as they don't absorb fluids.
  • Small But Mighty: Kitsch Telephone Cord Hair Ties may be small at 1.5 inches but mighty in stretch. Perfect for ponytails, buns, or braids, our non crease hair ties also make stylish wrist accessories. To resize stretched no pull hair ties, soak them in warm water, or use a hot blow dryer.

  • Great Value & My Hair LOVES Them
Color: Brunette Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1)
Personal Background: Hair Type: super fine silky hair - NO volume on top of my head Amount of Hair: VERY full head of hair, as in I have a ton of hair, but each strand is very thin Hair Texture: varies (if I air dry it's wavy/has a little curl / if I bush periodically when wet it dries mostly straight / if I kink it a bunch while drying it has light curls midway down my head) Hair Color: Dirty/Golden blond Hair Length: Long, hangs about 8 inches below my shoulder So, I used to use elastics with the fabric coating the band (pretty standard hair ties). Scrunchies, though they would leave less kinks, did not keep my hair together (my hair just slipped right out) and hair rubber bands DESTROYED my hair every time I removed them (despite being designed to come out of hair, I would lose a good amount in the battle because the fine strands just LOVED getting stuck). The soft fabric ties you use on kids(the ones with no rubber band in them)? those did not stay in, but at least they didn't hurt to remove. That really left me with the regular hair ties. For years I had to buy multiples packs a year because they never lasted long (would either snap on me, or the elastic got too stretched out. Because my hair has a silky texture, I had to wrap my hair pretty tightly (to the point of always hurting my fingers when putting up my hair) Aside from the constant hair tie replacing and loss of finger circulation when putting on, I would always get the worse hair kinks. If I wore my hair up for one day, I had to wear my hair up everyday until the next time i washed my hair. The kink was THAT bad. (note on myself: I'm pretty big on my hair care/health, so I would never straighten my hair to remove the kink, and try to only wash my hair a few times a week and use dry shampoo between washings- this could attribute to my hair type) THEN, one glorious Christmas my sister got me the weirdest hair tie as a gift. I have never seen a hair tie that looked like a coil before. She said it was big in Asia and I decided to give it a go (because why not?) It was a weird transition, but one that was surprisingly life changing. The coils in the tie helps keep my hair up by catching the stands that want to weasel their way out, and I did not have to bind my hair as tightly. Because I did not need to wrap the tie so many times round my hair, I got less of a hair kink. I can now wear my hair up one day then wear it down the next. That's how much the tie made a difference. On top of that, they are surprisingly durable. I received a two pack of clear coil ties, and have been using them for 8 months. The only reason I purchased these is because I left one at work (I've been working remotely since COVID hit, and I don't want to drive 45 minutes each way to retrieve a hair tie) and the other one is getting pretty stretched (fun fact, unlike regular hairties, these coil ties are almost as strong stretched out as they are new - I just have to wrap the tie around my hair a few extra times, but they still work like a charm!). I wanted to have some backup ties, and I liked having a few other colors. If I'm going out, I'd rather use a coil closer to my hair color than a clear shiny one. Now, that is my review on coil ties in general (10/10). My thoughts on this particular brand of hair coils? So far I've used them daily for a little over a week, and the products seem relatively comparable. They have not stretched out yet, and they hold my hair just as well as far as i can tell. My only note is that, since working from home, I don't try to get my hair up as nicely. Instead of a high pony tail or a bun, I've been wearing my hair mostly is low hanging loose ponytails. Most of my thoughts on this tie, and the reason I rated it 5 stars, is because I love this type of hair tie, and it acts the same as the ones I've used in the past. I also felt this pack was a great value, offering multiple hairties in a variation of colors for a reasonable price ($8 may seem high for hair ties, but as previously mentioned these things will last for the long haul). UPDATE: I tried binding my hair in a high ponytail, and the coil did stretch out a bit in the process. The coil is still plenty usable, but I don't think they will last quite as long as the previous product I used. However, I still consider this product worthy of five stars, because the price for the amount of hair coils received is still a bargain. I anticipate these coils lasting me a good year, despite the mild stretching I already noticed in one coil (have not needed to use any of the other coils yet) I uploaded a picture to show current hair coil status. The clear coil is the one I received last December (8 months of daily use - often used to bind my hair in a high ponytail, so a lot of strain has been put on the coil) The black coil is the one I've been using for about 2 weeks of daily use (mostly binding my hair loosely in a low ponytail) The brown coil has not yet been used and came in the same pack as the black coil (can see how much the black coil has stretched out over 2 weeks of use) I estimate getting about 6 weeks use out of each coil if I rotate between high ponytails (hair bound tightly) and low ponytails (hair bound loosely). Last side note, because I always look for this when I read product reviews, I write reviews randomly. I usually only comment on products I've personally used and have strong opinions on (I don't write reviews on things I buy for others, or items I am indifferent on. I mostly rate books I've read because I think it's good for authors to get feedback on their work & items i really love/dislike) ... show more

  • My go to hair ties—for years!
Color: Black Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using this product for years and am still satisfied with it. I was searching for a good hair tie that holds my hair in place, and this hair tie does its job fantastically. It looks small when first received but stretches out a lot, making it possible to even hold my hair done in a bun. It may loose its original shape but nonetheless holds my hair well enough. If it’s too stretched, giving a warm soak helps to shrink back to some point but not completely—however, although a little stretched, it still holds my hair well so I never had problem with it. It does snap at some point so it’s not permanent. My first purchase was in 2021, and reordered them in 2024, so one pack lasted about 3 years(some snapped, some got lost). A dollar for a hair tie may seem pricey but when thinking of its performance and how long it lasted, I would say it’s great value and will definitely come back when my current pack snaps. ... show more

  • No hair breakage
Color: Brunette Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1)
I like this product because I can pull it out of my hair without feeling like I’m pulling out the hair from my head

  • Perfect for Fine Hair, But Not a Hit with My Daughter's Thick Waves
Color: Transparent Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1)
I absolutely love these Kitsch Spiral Hair Ties for my fine hair! They hold my ponytail securely without pulling or leaving those dreaded creases. Plus, they’re gentle enough that I can take them out without any tugging or hair breakage. The transparent color is a nice touch, making them almost invisible in my hair and matching any outfit. However, my daughter, who has thick and wavy hair, isn’t as impressed. Not only do they not hold her hair as securely, but they also tend to tangle quite a bit with her thicker locks. We've had a few moments where the hair tie seemed more like a hair trap! It seems these are better suited for finer hair types, but they may not be the best choice for those blessed with lots of volume. Overall, if you have fine or medium hair, these are fantastic! They provide a comfortable and gentle hold all day long. But if your hair is thicker or has more texture, you might want to consider another option to avoid the tangles. ... show more

  • Good Quality but not for Thick Hair!
Color: Transparent Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1)
I ordered these because they were advertised for thick hair, but they are Not. These are very small and break when you stretch them to accommodate a thick ponytail. A total waste of money! UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: I was truly impressed when the merchant reached out to address my dissatisfaction with their product and offered me a refund. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it definitely makes me want to recommend doing business with them. Although the items didn’t work for my thick hair, they were of great quality. ... show more

Color: Transparent Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1)
I am a fully grey haired senior with LONG locks! I can not tell you how much attention this mane if hair gets! I live in a desert region and these holders help me keep my hair off my neck, it gets hot! I ordered enough to last me for years! Best money I have spent on hair maintenance!

  • Good product but not giftable
Color: Black Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1)
I bought these to add to a self care theme gift I was putting together. The product came in a generic plastic bag without any brand logos. Looked like maybe I got a set that was returned? The hair bands looked new so I kept them for myself instead of dealing with returning. I was surprised because everything else I have bought from this brand comes in nice giftable packaging. ... show more

  • Great for thick hair

I have tried every single hair tie out there and this is the only one that doesn't pull Harout and last a long time. I only use these now.
