I know this isn't meant to be used as a shower cap, but that is how I use it and it is perfect. I am really finicky and weird about shower caps and this by far is the most comfortable and keeps my hair nice and dry and doesn't make my hair oily after a shower. I also love that I can wash it weekly.

But back to what it is intended for it is really wide which is great for my unreasonably thick hair that creeps out of a regular headband.

Although this covers my head and is very soft the elastic isn’t very tight and it tends to slide off pretty quickly. I use it to wash my face and it’s OK for that but I wanted something soft to wear like a hairband to keep my hair covered for a longer period of time. For the price I wouldn’t recommend. I have cheaper headbands out of the same material that hold my hair back better. They just don’t give the coverage.
