I sort of took a chance on this one. I got it for $20, thinking I would return it if it didn’t work out. It’s surprisingly one of the most flattering dresses I’ve ever found. It’s so hard to find dresses that fit me, they’re always too tight or too low cut for me, I’m large chested. This one covers everything and it’s really flattering. The neck looked oddly small when I took it out of the package but it fits fine. The sleeves are shorter on me than they show in the photos…I would rather have had them a bit longer. But overall this was a great find for me and I definitely recommend it.

I should’ve listened to other peoples’ reviews. Or even the automatic warning that popped up indicating that this is a frequently returned item. The neck! Y’all need to fix this design! The neck is tight, hard to get over your head, and feels suffocating. Frankly, it looks rather “clownish.” Did I mention, it’s uncomfortable in the neck? Before I discuss what’s bad about this dress, I need to give them FIVE stars for the way it’s made as far as the quality of the dress! And the material is great too. But the design of this dress just ruins it for me. I give it one star for design. First, this seller has over 13,000 reviews for this item, averaging out to about 4 stars. But that’s so misleading because this seller has 4 or 5 dress designs with each design having about 10 or 15 color/print variations. This makes for about 45 different options all listed under this one “dress” or description. It’s impossible to lean on the opinions of our fellow-shoppers when you pile all of your designs into one item. For all we know design number 2 (or whatever) is actually a 2-star item. I mean, unless we want to read all 13.5k reviews we have no way of knowing what the real end result is for each of these designs. That’s just the overall or overarching issue with the way their designs have been loaded into their page on the Amazon website. Second, the description is INCORRECT. In the first paragraph of their lengthy description it says that the white dress and the apricot dress are lined. But my very dark print is lined. And I happen to hate this liner/slip. (The feel of the liner material is wonderful though! Very soft!) But why is there a slip in this dress anyway? It doesn’t need one. It feels awkward and makes the garment feel tighter than it actually is. In addition to narrowing this down to one design with 10 or so color variations, Kirundo needs to fix their description. If you take a quick peek at the many many questions asking if this dress is lined, you’ll immediately notice all the confusion regarding the liner. It seems there’s every variation of answer possible! One answer even says “No the dress IS absolutely lined. Not see-through at all.” No means yes in the example above. And it’s just one of the misleading answers. Please fix your description to accurately describe your product. If the seller meant what they said in their description, then my dress was just made wrong. Because it’s dark; but yet, it’s still lined. If the seller did NOT MEAN what they said in their description (that only the 2 light colors are lined), then they need to fix it to say that ALL of the dresses are lined. The rest of it is unremarkable really. The print is cute. The stitching/sewing is top-notch. It’s lined. And it has no pockets.

At first glance, it looks perfect. When I put it on, it was a totally different story. The dress is not fitted as it appears to be in the photos. The sleeves are not remotely the shape they are in the photos (they were bubble-shape, there is elastic in them, and I don’t believe they size-up with the dress). It is a floral potato sack. I was able to salvage it for the wedding I wore it to (I wore a cardigan over the sleeves, a corset- because it’s not oversized- it’s just loose, and a belt to fix the bad waistline- because this dress has almost no shape in the waist at all), but I definitely will not repurchase it in the other colors/designs like I planned to. I have a large chest and am kinda tall, and (until I added a belt) this dress was nowhere near the length it is in the pictures (more like knee-length than mid-thigh). I bought it in the largest size, and (despite the shape being completely wrong) it fit. The material was okay (I have reservations about cheap-feeling clothes and it wasn’t bad), and there were no rips/holes in the dress. I am 5’11 and roughly 225lbs. TLDR: The sleeves are uncomfortable due to elastic. They are a bubble shape, and not as pictured. The rest of the dress is not the shape/length depicted in photos. 3 stars because it fit, but not 5 (because it is not the dress advertised).

This is one of the most comfortable, carefree dresses I've ever owned. Not one thing about it was scratchy, fussy, tight, rode up, or bunched up. I received this three days ago and wore it to a wedding today. I didn't have to iron it or anything else, I basically wore it right out of the package. It is flowy and swingy and I felt amazing in it. My husband teased me a bit, saying it looked Amish and my 11-year-old daughter said it looked "old fashioned, like from the 70s" but they both admitted it was pretty and looked good on me. I think it's just because it's a huge departure from what I would normally wear. Calico print is definitely not my usual thing! But I love this dress! It's lined with a burgundy fabric, and at first I thought it was overkill - the material doesn't seem see-through, and I thought the lining would make it too hot on this 83° day. I considered cutting it out but thought I would just see how it was. It was fine! I didn't get hot at all, and the lining DOES serve a purpose... the dress is so flowy it definitely blows in the breeze! My only wish is if it had pockets but I wouldn't reject it for that. I'm 5'4", 148 lbs, 38B, size 8 top and 10 pants, and the size medium is perfect for me in every way. 10/10 recommend!
