This is my first Kindle and I bought it to take on a very long 6 week trip where books would be hard to pack. I found it easy to set up and much easier on my eyes than reading on my iPad. The battery lasts a LONG time. It charges with a USB cord. I got a little cover and another stand charging thing as part of a “package”. I like the cover to protect it but the stand charger is a waste for me. I never use it. I am surprised that I still get Kindle version books from the library versus hardbacks because I don’t have to go get them! LOL. I’m a “late to the Kindle party” convert. The only thing that feels “cludgy” is navigating back and remembering the “controls” of the touch screen. The Kindle app on the ipad was much easier to navigate. I found it harder to set up permanent choices for font, etc. Also the power button is on the bottom where I accidentally turn it off if I rest the Kindle on my belly in bed. LOL

I've always preferred to buy hard copies of my books, but I started traveling for work and decided to bite the bullet. I chose The signature for the storage capacity and battery life. It'll go all week without a charge and I haven't worried about the storage space yet at 500 books. It's been great, I can read wherever I'm at and I've started to use the Kindle even at home. I still buy some favorite books in paper, but not all of them so this is saving me so much space on my shelves too. I should've bought one years earlier.

I love this kindle! I had a first gen. model for a long time, and this is so much better! It’s thin, portable, and easy to read on! I have a cover for it, so it’s durable, and the screen is clean and flat! Love this!

I like the fact that is lightweight, the charge last for weeks and the size is perfect. No annoying ads on the main screen is the best part. I am enjoying my kindle paperwhite signature edition.

I got this as a deal. It cost just under $160 for the whole bundle so take this as you will. The stand makes a nice wireless charger and also nice to just sit and read flipping through while it’s on the charge. The case is a nice great with a soft inside for the screen and basic plastic for the back inside. The outside is a nice synthetic plastic. The kindle is great it can probably hold thousands of books at 32gb. It’s pretty quick compared to my original and the brightness and warmth adjustments nice for late night reads.

Bought this Paperwhite for my mom. I already have this exact model. I love everything about it. My mom says it makes reading easier for her too. I can literally read on this an any light setting, including bright sun with no issues. I love the portability, and plop it in my purse and it goes everywhere with me. The battery life is amazing. I often go a month or more without having to charge, and I read everyday. This model is a lot more responsive than the Paperwhite (previous model) that I had. I like the wireless charging option because half the time I can't find the cord because it goes so long in between charges. This Kindle has changed my life!!!! And brought me back to my love of reading. Hands down would recommend!!!
