Cabinet arrived in nice packaging with steel reinforcing corners inside the carton. Easy to assemble. A slight knock on the locking mechanism because it doesn't want to stay fully latched unless the cabinet is locked - easy fix... lock it. Very pleased with this purchase.

    • Great Product, instructions could use some work
I am 70 years old and have been designing and building things all my life. From race cars to sailboats to houses to computer systems to...well lots. Right now I’m testing out several diesel heaters to use as either emergency heat backup for my house or for my little popup camper. I was getting ready to build a cabinet for the diesel unit I will use as the emergency heat for the house, when I saw this cabinet. I am so glad I did, this is the new housing for the diesel heater, with lots of room to spare. Now, here is the weird part. On one hand, I’d like to give this 6 stars simply on how it was shipped, designed and made. On the other hand I would almost give this 4 star due to how they skimped on the illustrated instructions. I therefore settled on 5 stars. On shipping, they put in 4 steel corner braces in the shipping box to protect this...wow! In build, the holes all lined up exactly right. They provided an extra part for each screw and brace. WELL DONE. It took maybe 20 minutes to construct it. The casters are very good, solid wheels, that fully rotate and lock. I am very impressed with this cabinet. So, what is my “instructions complaint”? Well, one of the things I used to do was to create exploded drawings to show how to build something. Where this company missed the boat is that they should have provided close-in views on screw hole locations on the back panels and how the parts go together to build and install the doors and locking mechanism. Yes, I got it all together fine, but I could see where some folks would make some errors in the build, errors that are fully understandable and with just a little more thought on the company’s part, would probably never happen. I am very, very impressed with this product and will almost assuredly buy another one and recommend this to others, but come-on folks, fix the instructions. Note: I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years. I write all of my reviews to reflect my personal observations and opinions on a product. It matters not if I have purchased the item myself or if it was provided to me for review. My goal is to provide other potential customers as much real-world knowledge as possible to make an informed decision. In some cases I will return to my review in 6 months or less to see if I should alter my original observations. In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all. In addition, I will try to include multiple images and or videos on each product, if practical. ... show more

This cabinet really is impressive! Assembling it in this unit took a little longer than what I had anticipated. All of the panels were in really nice shape with no scratches or dings. I feel that the included screws and hardware are probably the weaker points of this cabinet, however are totally workable. I will also know that every single screw head for the casters stripped during installation. Very soft on those. But once everything is finish, you have a very attractive solid storage locker. I feel that this comes in at a really good value and the only downside is the caster hardware. Really good performance for value. Would absolutely recommend checking this out! ... show more

This is excellent! I’ve been using it as my “service” cart that has things like my soldering, cutting and smaller welding tools as well as some of the air tools so I can wheel it out wherever needed - Rolls beautifully and was rather easy to assemble - I made sure to have the handle pointing down while in the closed position so that if anything ever we to fall and hit the handle it wouldn’t open if it wasn’t locked! - A winner for me! 9.9/10 ... show more

Instructions did not include many important details of assembly. I have components and fasteners left over and no clue on where they are to be used.

    • Great looking cabinet
It's not made for flammable items but this cabinet was perfect for storing paint and thinner in my shop. The assembly was not to bad and the instructions are OK except for the door lock mechanism which is very small. Don't forget to install the locking bar guides in the door edges before you get the lock all put together. As it is all assembled with sheet metal screws the finished cabinet is not super solid but adequate for something you don't move every day. The wheels and base plate are very heavy duty and that's a big bonus for heavy papers and books. the doors are somewhat tricky to close at first but once you get the order down they lock up nicely and you get 2 keys. The lock will not keep out a determined intruder but prying eyes will be deterred. It will not be long before I'm thinking about a second one for more room. ... show more
