I bought this toy for my 4 year old as it was advertised for kids and toddlers, he did not let go of it since he got it, he feels like an adult driving his car , the speed is perfect not too fast and not too slow I would say around 3 mph, you control the car from the steering wheel buttons so you have no breaks to press which makes it easier for my kid , it comes with a 6v battery and is quite powerful , he love the lights and music it also has engine sound and sirens sound which he loves , it's very well built strong and sturdy and the best feature is that you can fold it easily and store it in a closet , 2 things to note , you must connect the battery before the first use the battery is in the trunk of the car its 1 red wire to connect to the battery which is easy, 2. it will not ride too well on hard floors because it will slip and the wheels will turn faster, we anyway use it in our backyard mostly and it's perfect it has the power and speed and will not get stuck anywhere, I recommend this toy for a 2 to 6 year old boy or girl ... show more
