The break on these skates are too small and not safe! If they had a bigger break make of rubber, these skates would be good, but as they are now, they ought to be taken off of the market.

My daughter is 6 years old and she loves these! The bearings are pretty good, but not too good so she isn't flying down the sidewalk out of control. She hasn't said they are uncomfortable, and I assume they are comfy because we've gone for 30-45 minute rides with no problems. Bindings are still working well. The show laces are a little cheap, after she fell several times and caught the shoelaces on the pavement, they started to fray pretty quickly, but no worries. ... show more

I purchased these for my nine year old daughter who is roughly 5'5". She loved them and they got her perfectly. The pictures honestly don't do them much justice. She was so excited, I couldn't get her to hold still long enough to get better pics. These skates are made of firm, good quality materials. This is our second pair of these skates. The first pair my daughter outgrew so we bought the same ones in a bigger size. They were listed in like-new condition, however, the pair that arrived should have been listed as acceptable. The wheels, brake, and laces showed a lot of wear and are heavily scuffed. The fabric has a hole in it where the laces tie. She was very disappointed in how bad they look. I will not be returning them because she only skates two or three times a year for skate parties.
