  • What I call a boys version of a Barbie house!
Bought for my 3 yr old grandson for Xmas. It’s very good quality. Comes in lots and lots of pieces and took some time to screw it all together. I didn’t enjoy that, but I did love it once it was all together. And so did my grandson. It’s great for all types of play. Not just police and fire. But has movable furniture etc just like a doll house but it’s very boy. Folds up so it doesn’t require a ton of space. Love it!!! ... show more

  • Hours of fun
Hours of fun. It has survived a year of toddler play. It wasn't difficult to assemble but do pay attention to details.

  • Really cute for little boys
The media could not be loaded. I wanted my son to have this for his 3rd bday and it was a hit!! He absolutely loves it. Took my husband around 2 hours to build. Instructions could have been better. Over all it’s really cute, it’s large. I love that it closes and opens makes it a bit easier to store. I will say that the figures that come with it don’t function well at all for the furniture that comes with it. They are much too large. I read reviews prior and decided to purchase other little men to go with ten fire station that were a much better for for the furniture. The ladder to the bunk I presume literally doesn’t attach any kind of way and serves no purpose and more than like like won’t be used. Overall, it’s really nice and it seems like it will last a while and my son loved it and was sooo excited when he was surprised with it. ... show more

  • My 1.5 Year Old Loves It
Let me just start by saying I have a very busy 1.5 year old and before any angry parents see my post, I'll say that I removed any potential choking hazard from this toy and will give it to him when he's older. Some of the small play pieces are very much a choking hazard. The installation wasn't easy but that is at no fault to the manufacturer, this thing is pretty large. The only problem is the locations that you need to insert certain colored screws matters. It takes a few minutes of looking at what you're assembling to figure out which color screw to use. Other than that, it was pretty simple and my toddler plays with it every single day. I'm now on the hunt for more of the silicone type action figures that came with this as they are perfect for molding positions and totally safe for my kid. ... show more

  • find a large space to spread out the massive quantities of boards for easy viewing and getting the pieces
This will be a Christmas present for my three year old. He has been obsessed with Fireman Sam and all that entails, so I was hoping for a play set that would work with his existing fireman toys from various brands. This arrived on time in packaging that would rival NASA engineering. My goal was to assemble it and hide it before Christmas so my Christmas eve does not involve hours of assembling. If I hadn't been watching TV, I probably could have actually assembled this in under 2 hours, and if there were other helpful hands, I'm sure we could have knocked it out in even less time. I agree with others, find a large space to spread out the massive quantities of boards for easy viewing and getting the pieces. Once you find the pieces they were super simple to assemble. The only thing I did not notice or pay attention to until I assembled one of the towers was that the screws labelled "A" were separated and color coded for the entire project, once I actually noticed it, It was an easy fix and I matched up the color to the exterior picture. I could have left it if I wanted and it would not have taken away from the finished product. The diagram steps were simple and the only time I felt I needed more strength was the tiny little door knobs. Pliers and the screw driver did the trick. The quality is fine for the size and price point of this thing. I scratched a few doors before I got the pliers out for the door knob but even so, I nor my 3 year old are particularly fussy about perfection so I'm not concerned and I think I want something he can play with to his hearts content versus a gift that he can only look at from a far. The accessories are a mix of wood and plastic, and the construction seems to be a mix of wood, prefab boards etc. If you're looking for generations out of it, I doubt it, but I think this will be just fine until his Fireman obsessions changes to dinosaurs or college, whichever comes first. Once it was all assembled, it was adorable and I wanted to mess with all the accessories rather than tuck it away for Christmas. I resisted, but I did check out that his "Fireman Sam' truck could fit through the doors. I think even his F. P. Little people truck will go as well. Overall, I am extremely excited to see his face Christmas morning, and see him play with the new and his old toys all together which was my goal. ... show more

  • Hours of entertainment
My 3 year old son loves this. Found this when looking for a boy-alternative to a doll house. This is perfect. Still has many home features such as a kitchen, bathroom, bunkbeds, etc but with a more masculine feel for boys. Lots of high quality accessories to furnish the house.

  • READ BEFORE PUTTING TOGETHER!
Words cannot express how much we love this firestation. I bought this for my 2 yr old nephews bday 2 months ago and hes played with it everyday since. I love the fine details: wood/tire flooring, screws painted to blend into background, the little doors with knobs that open, ect. Its adorable and i even have fun playing with him. Only complaints is its very annoying to put together. Like i said above, screws are different colors but the directions dont let you know this. Theres pieces with holes (the roof piece where the bell gets put for example) that aren't labeled differently so i realized this after the fact and had to put it back together, same with screws. If the directions were better and more clear there would be zero complaints. Its not even worth the drop of a star on the review. All pieces are intact but one (the desk chair) which broke recently but was easily glued back together. I highly recommend!!! I hope when they remaster this playset it will include an ambulance and emt bc we also have fun turning one room into an ER lol. ... show more
